Chapter 55

My fingers rubbed my temples, trying to ease the horrible headache. I groaned as my stomach started to hurt. I grasped onto Niall's hand like I was holding onto dear life, "W-When is Liam coming?" I stuttered out. Niall glanced at the clock, "He should be coming any minute now."

I nodded, but stopped midway, because another wave of nausea ran through, "P-Pass me the bucket," I said, quickly covering my mouth with my hand, hoping that somehow that would hold back the vomit. Niall quickly handed the bucket that already had vomit in it. I waited for the throw up to slowly rise up my throat. I felt that nasty feeling, as the puke slowly climbed up my throat. I hunched over the bucket and puked into it. Niall cringed and wrinkled his nose at the noise and sound.

"S-Sorry," I mumbled, as I wiped off my mouth with the back of my hand.

"It's fine, love. Well, this is gonna suck for Liam... he's gonna have to clean up the vomit that's all over the floor..." Niall mumbled. I looked at the floor to see the mess I made when I couldn't get out of bed. I frowned, "Liam is gonna hate us..."

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Niall quickly hopped up, "That's Liam. I'm going to go answer the door. You just stay here," he replied, as he ran off. Like I could move... I wiped the seat off of my forehead and clutched my pained stomach, as I waited for Liam and Niall to come upstairs.

"Yeah, I'm not really sure what's going on, but Nicole seems really sick and is in a lot of pain," Niall told Liam, as he walked in. Liam's eyes widened and he quickly plugged his nose, "It smells horrible in here!"

"Yeah, Nicole kind of puked on the floor because she could barely move... um, I hate to ask this, but could you clean it up while we're gone? I really don't want vomit sticking to the floor," Niall awkwardly said.

"Do I have to?" Liam whined. Niall bit his lip, "I know it's a gross favor to ask, but could you, please Liam?" he asked. Liam groaned, "Fine, but you owe me, Niall. "

"Deal," Niall replied and quickly walked back to my side, "I'll just clean out the bucket and then we'll go to the hospital, okay? Everything will be okay, Nicole. D-Don't be worried," Niall frantically said, only making me more nervous. He's not really good with comforting people when he's nervous...

Niall grabbed the bucket and quickly walked over to the bathroom to wash it out. I glanced over at Liam who was suspiciously eying the mess. I gasped out in pain, causing Liam to quickly look up, "U-Um, are you okay? What am I saying? Of course you're not okay, you're in a lot of pain and-" Liam rambled on. I interrupted him, "C-Could you give me my shoes?" my voice was weak and pained. I lifted up a hand and pointed at my TOMS which were on the other side of the room.

"Sure," Liam quickly replied and rushed over to the other side of the room. He grabbed my shoes and rushed back to my side, handing them to me. I took a deep breath and then grabbed one of the shoes. I tried to bend over to slip my shoe on, but I couldn't do it. I cried out in pain, and squeezed back a couple tears.

"Let me help you, love," Liam replied, trying to keep his voice calm for me. He took the shoes from my hands and then slipped them on my feet. I groaned, as more pain ran through my body. Liam looked nervous, like he didn't know what to do, "U-Um, Niall?" he asked. Niall walked in with the bucket in his hand, it was now clean. He looked over to see that I was in a lot of pain, "W-We need to go to the hospital right now. Liam, if anything happens with the kids, call me."

"Okay. I hope everything turns out fine," Liam replied. Niall walked over to me, and saw that I wouldn't be able to walk over to the car. Niall tried to think of an idea, and he found one. He handed me the bucket, "Take this just in case you throw up," he commanded. I took the bucket from his outstretched hand. Niall threw a T-shirt over his chest then a pair of shorts over his boxers. He scooped me up, holding me bridal style in his arms.
