*Nicole's P.O.V.*
Bethany nodded, answering Niall's question. She looked a little nervous, but Niall and I walked over to her anyways, "So, you're going to continue talking... right?" Niall asked. Bethany didn't say anything. Was that just a onetime thing?
She looked at the ground and shook her head. No, I now know that she has the nerve to speak, I can't let this all slip through my fingertips. I think she needs someone to relate to, someone to trust. I walked over to Bethany, "Bethany, I think I need to tell you the truth," I said.
Bethany looked at me with her wide blue eyes, waiting for me to continue. I led her over to the couch, beckoning for her to sit down with me. I sat down beside Bethany and took a deep breath, "I'm guessing you don't know my real story... You're my daughter, so I think I should tell you. I need to tell you how my life really is. I assume you think I've always been this rich girl who's living with a celebrity, but no, it didn't start out that way. It all started when my mom died..."
I ended up telling her everything. From my abusive father to all the times I got hurt. I told her of Niall and I's struggles, hoping she'd be able to relate to me more, then it would help her trust me. All I want is for her to know that we love her.
"I was mute once, so I want to help you get past it. It was a hard time in my life, but I ended up realizing that people do love me, and want to hear my voice. I had to stop making other suffer, so I spoke. And, Bethany, Niall, Addy, Aedan, and I all love you."
Bethany looked at me for a moment, then the floor, like she was thinking seriously. She looked back up with a smile on her face, "I love you, too, Mommy."
I felt tears threatening to spill over. I pulled Bethany into a tight hug, as I sobbed. I could hear her sniffling, too.

Two more months have passed by, and Bethany has continued talking. She is actually more talkative then I would've expected. She loves to play with the twins a lot, and usually has Ella over every weekend.
It's already the middle of December, so Christmas is coming soon. It will be Bethany's first Christmas with us, so we're all excited. Bethany's really excited; because this is the first time she'll actually have a good Christmas in a couple years.
I woke up the next morning and yawned, stretching my arms out. I felt a pair of lips connect to mine, once my eyes opened. I kissed back and cupped his cheek. Niall wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me close. I pulled away and rested my head on his chest. Niall kissed the top of my head, "You know it snowed last night."
I pulled away from Niall's chest and glanced out the window. A blanket of soft, white, snow covered the ground. The trees were covered in a layer of crystal icicles. Every item on the ground outside was covered by a layer of white. It was beautiful.
I gasped, "It's so pretty," I said. Niall held me in his arms, protecting me from the cold. I smiled and snuggled my face into his T-shirt.
Then, our silence was interrupted by the kids, "Look, look, it snowed!" I heard Bethany yell. Niall and I quietly laughed about the fact that our peace was short-lived. Niall helped me out of bed and I threw a pair of slippers over my bare feet.
I followed Niall down the hall to see that all the kids were in Bethany's room, their faces pressed against the window. Niall and I laughed, "Excited about the snow?" he asked them. They all turned around and nodded simultaneously, causing Niall and I to laugh again.
"Well, if you guys come down for breakfast, maybe we can do something in the snow later," Niall suggested. They all quickly ran down the stairs. Niall and I followed behind them. Niall walked into the kitchen and stood in front of the counter that the kids were sitting at, "So, what can Chef Niall make for my costumers?" Niall joked.
