"What are you doing here? Harry! Zil!" Hunter called up the stairs in a frantic voice, hoping his friends would soon be stumbling down the steps in a sleepy stupor.

As long as he wasn't alone.

"Oh, don't worry about your friends. They're off at a sleepover with some other boys. It's really too bad you weren't invited." Drake confirmed his fear, also making him feel hurt at not being invited.

But that didn't matter at the moment.

"Why are you here?" Hunter asked, his voice shaking a bit as he backed up a step- Drake in response standing and taking a step closer.

"I just wanted to talk, Hunter." Drake answered, speaking softly but still in a threatening tone.

It made Hunter shiver.

Drake saw that and laughed, and his laugh was even worse.

"T-talk about what?" Hunter stuttered, pushing himself into the wall as Drake moved closer, only a foot away from him.

"I saw you leaving town tonight, and Sammy was following you. I was just wondering if anything was happening that you'd need some help with." Drake responded, his voice slick like a snakes, but cold and hallowing at the same time.

Taking a deep breath so to not stumble on his words, Hunter answered.

"We just went for a walk. Getting in our daily physical activity." He said, almost being able to add a joking tone to his last sentence.

In a split second Drake went from cool and controlled to outraged. He lunged forward, slamming and pinning Hunter to the wall in one forceful move.

"You think you're funny, don't you?" He hissed in his face, his hand was wrapped tightly around his neck and making him sputter for breath as he wiggled to get free.

"Well, you're not." Drake answered his own question, his blazing eyes cutting into Hunter's panicked ones.

He squeezed tighter for a moment, and Hunter felt his head get lighter before Drake abruptly stepped back.

Gasping in breath, Hunter looked up fearfully at Drake from his knees- his eyes darting around for escape.

"Why did you go into the woods Hunter? Tell me something good, or else I'll have to bring some, other people into this?" Drake growled, staring down at Hunter with a disgusted look.

"I told you," Hunter wheezed, still catching his breath as he tried to stumble to his feet. "I was just going on a walk. Sam just followed me because I accidentally spilled something, and ran away-"

Hunter grunted as Drake knee collided with Hunter's stomach. As he was curling up in pain, Drake's fingers intertwined in Hunter's hair, pulling him roughly back up.

"Ok Hunter, you be like that. Let's go talk with Caine." Drake sighed, almost as if he dreaded having to bring Caine into this.

But Hunter didn't have time to think about it, as Drake started dragging him out of the house by his hair- all the while Hunter hissing in pain and pleading release.

But Drake didn't comply, and soon enough he was dragging Hunter out the door and down the street. Blinking back the tears from his stinging eyes, Hunter could just barely see faces looking in from inside houses, and expected that soon enough someone would come to rescue- like he did for Bette.

But no one came.

Stumbling up the stairs of town hall in Drake's tow, Hunter found himself being shoved onto the floor of the Mayor's office.
