Jacqueline's POV**

Jethro and I were getting out of the car when I saw Sophie and Jake getting out of the car also. It was obvious that something was wrong because they were both super tense.

"Come find me when you trust me. I can't be with someone who doesn't trust me. I'm sorry." Jake said to Sophie before getting in his car and driving off.

I understood where Sophie was coming from. She hadn't known him that long, they hadn't been together that long and Jake was super attractive. It was normal for her to not trust Jake entirely.

Jake was right also. Relationships are built on trust. If you can't trust each other then the relationship won't work no matter how much you love each other. I had to make sure Sophie understood that.

**Sophie's POV**

"I can't be with someone who doesn't trust me. I'm sorry." Jake had said. Did that mean that he had just broken up with me. I stood there in the driveway for what felt like an eternity. My eyes were glued to where his car had been.

"Soph, come inside. Let's talk about it." Mom said from behind me.

"There's nothing to talk about." I lied.

"You've been out there for almost an hour staring at where his car had been parked. Of course there's something to talk about." Mom said.

"I don't want to talk to you. I want to talk to my mom. She would know what to say." I told her. I got in my car and drove to the cemetery.

"Mom there's a few things I need to tell you. First of all, I know I said I would come and see you once a week and it's been a month. It's just life has been crazy. Second of all, I'm sorry. I know I'm breaking the rule but what I'm about to tell you warrants it." I said. I sat down on the grass beside her grave. I took a deep sigh.

"I called Jackie mom and it's kinda stuck. I'm so sorry. I don't want you to feel that she's replacing you, because she's not. She's just been there for me since I lost you. She's been there for dad also. Jackie and dad are together. They're boyfriend and girlfriend. Dad asked me if it was okay and I said yes. In fact I pushed him to ask her to be his girlfriend. I'm sorry." I explained.

"Jake and I may be over. He said that he can't be with someone who doesn't trust him and he said that he's sorry. Then he got in his stupid car and drove off. It's been like 7 weeks. Of course I don't trust him completely yet. He's super attractive, kind, romantic, loving and magical. I'm so worried that's he's gonna meet someone in university who's his age and he leaves me for her. I don't want to be heartbroken because I love him so much and if I lose him, I don't know what I'd do." I cried to mom.

"You're never gonna need to worry about that. I'm not going anywhere." Jake said from behind me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked without turning to face him.

"We've only been together 7 weeks and after everything you've been through, it's understandable that you don't trust me. I overreacted in the car. I love you baby, I love you so much and if you let me, I want to show you just how trustworthy I am. I love you." He said. I ran into his arms and kissed him passionately. He kissed me back before pulling away quickly.
