**Gibbs' POV**
Me and the team were at a crime scene. It looked like the woman had committed suicide but obviously we investigated it as a murder.
"Boss I found this." Tony said.
"Is it a suicide note?" I asked looking at the paper in his hands.
"Um no. It's basically a Dear John letter."
I thought back to Paris and how Jen had left me and only left a letter.
"Okay bag it."

We were now back at office. We found out that this case was a matter of national security if it was murder because she was the only one who knew the codes for the missiles on the ship. This meant that we would be stuck working with FBI as well but at least it was Fornell.
"Special agent Gibbs, I would like to see you in my office." Jen called from the balcony.
I headed up to her office and went in. I looked around and saw no sign of Sophie.
"She's with Abby." Jen said and broke the silence.
"You wanted to see me Jen." I said.
"Um yeah. I was told that a sheet of paper was found at the crime scene. Did it have classified information on it?"
"No it didn't. It was a letter."
"What sort of letter?"
"The sort of letter you gave me in Paris."
"Why make it relevant to our past special agent Gibbs?" Jenny said, being 110% professional.
"Because I can. Director." Jethro replied, also being fully professional.
"I would prefer it if you didn't. Oh and try and keep the press out of this."
"I'm just gonna do my job."
"Okay."
"So I'm coming round again tonight to help with protection detail and I'll be there for three nights including tonight. When Hollis gets back who do you want me to send?" I asked her.
"Um no one. I can handle it." She said and bit her lip like she usually does whenever she knew I was gonna say no to her.
"No! If you don't tell me, I'll send Dinozzo."
"Fine you can send Ziva." She said and sighed.
"Glad we're on the same page." I said and made my way to the door.
"Why don't you just send Ziva tonight?" Jen asked.
"Because I'm still around."
"It's just that, this all seems very much like how we were when we were partners. Before Paris."
"What do you mean?"
"You know what I mean. You tickling me and making fun of me. Then laughing when I get all strict and you flirting with me."
"And I hate mornings. Ever since Paris I've hated mornings. Even when I've woken up next to a guy." She continued. I cringed at the thought of her with another guy.
