It All Began In Paris

Chapter 21

**Emily's POV**

When Sophie voiced how she felt earlier in the day at the mall, that's when I knew that this evening was going to be a mistake. Sophie wouldn't be able to say no to him with everyone there.

I knew what was going through Sophie's Hess. She loved him very much but he was leaving in two months.

**Sophie's POV**

I didn't care that he was leaving soon. I didn't care that we were going to be 7 hours apart. All I cared about was how much I loved this man in front of me.

"Jake I love you so much. Of course I accept this ring. I love you." I said. He got up from the floor and hugged me. He didn't want to kiss me in front of my parents which I think was very considerate of him.

He slid the ring onto my left hand on my middle finger. The ring fit perfectly.

Now it was just the two of us again. Everyone had left. Emily and Isaac went out to a restaurant before coming to the party.

"That was really sweet of you Jake." I told him.

"Now that they're I can finally kiss you." Jake said with a smile. He kissed my lips softly. It was one of those lingering kisses that made you want more.

"I love you baby." He whispered against my lips and put a strand of hair behind my ear.

"I love you too Jake." I whispered back and kissed his cheek.

"Why didn't I get a proper kiss?" He asked and fake poured.

"Well, I'm hungry and you have all my favourite sweet foods here so what else do you expect?" I told him with a grin and went to open the chocolate covered strawberries.

Before I could get to them Jake started tickling me. He pinned me to the ground and continued tickling me. I was roaring with laughter.

"Kiss me and I'll let you go." He told me and paused his tickling for a moment.

"Never!" I cried through my laughter.

He continued to tickle me and that's when I manned up - or you know womanned up - and took control. I rolled us over so that he was underneath me.

I leaned down and kissed him passionately. Then sat on top of him while he was still on the ground. I could feel him get hard beneath me.

"Oops. I think I just woke something up." I giggled. I stayed where I was and Jake groaned.

"Let's eat babe." Jake said. He sat up with me still sitting on him and went he came close enough he kissed my lips. Then we parted and started eating.

"Hey man, so glad you made it. This must be the wonderful Sophie you've been banging on about." The guy who opened the door said.

"Well thanks for the invite and happy birthday Marcus." Jake said and handed Marcus and envelope.

"Happy birthday." I said to Marcus and hugged him.

"Thanks guys. Have fun. I'll catch you later." Marcus said before returning to the crowd.

Marcus had a large house and it was full of people. The living room had turned into a dance floor and I guessed all the drinks were in the kitchen.

"Come with me. There's someone I wanna introduce you to." Jake said. He had an arm wrapped around my waist protectively. Whenever someone looked at me, he pulled me in closer.

He took me over to a group of people sitting on the floor in the dining room playing truth or dare. From the looks of it, they were playing with alcohol since they all had red cups.
