**Gibbs' POV**

"Who was that? What's going on?" I asked Sophie.

"Someone has kidnapped Emily. They said that I need to go to the location and swap places with Emily in the next two hours or they will kill her." Sophie explained to me as tears streamed down her face.

I knew she needed to go and it was gonna be difficult to stop her but I couldn't let her go and trade places. If she did... either both of them would die or I would lose my daughter. And I knew Tobias would understand.

"You are not going anywhere. I understand why you want to go but you're not. We will figure out another way." I explained to her.

"Okay." She said in a defeated tone.

I wasn't expecting her to agree and I guess my face showed my surprise.

"There's no point in arguing with you because it's gonna be your way in the end anyway and we haven't got time to argue over this." She told me.

We had told Sophie to stay at the school with Abby. Sophie wouldn't have been much help if she came with us and it would be too dangerous for her.

"I want her sister." A masked man told me and pointed a gun at me whilst another masked man held a gun to Emily's head. I had left a voicemail to Tobias to tell him the situation but he hadn't called me back yet.

"Her sister is my daughter and that's not happening." I told them.

What the men didn't know was that over time I had trained Tony and Ziva as snipers and that they were ready to take their shots. Just then two gun shots went off. Both men were dead. I went to Emily and held her tightly.

"You're okay sweetheart." I told her.

"I know I am. I knew all along that I would be. I was never worried." Emily said. She had a smile on her face and didn't have a single tear down her face. She didn't even look like she had been crying.

**Emily's POV**

I knew the whole time that Uncle Jethro or my dad were gonna come and get me so I was never scared. Not even for a moment.

"How's Sophie? She went for coffee with Jake." I asked uncle Jethro.

"She went for coffee with who? I'm gonna kill him. What's he doing here anyway?" Uncle Jethro screamed.

"No you're not. And he is at the school as part of his university course. He has to like do work experience or something."

**Sophie's POV**

There was a knock on my dorm room door. I opened the door and saw my dad. He had a very sad look on his face. I knew  that I had lost my best friend. I should've traded places with her. I burst into tears.

"What you crying about you idiot? You really thought you could get out of telling me about your coffee date with Jake!" Emily said and stepped out from behind my dad.

"It wasn't a date. And I hate you. I hate both of you." I yelled and hugged my best friend so tightly that I would've killed her if dad hadn't of told me to let go.

"What's this all about..you going for coffee with Jake? Don't tell me you're naive enough to take him back." Dad told me and looked stern.

"No I haven't taken him back. And as for the rest of the story... go away and send Ziva in here. It's time for a girly chat." I told him.

Once he left I called Mom.

"Hey mom... I have a bunch of stuff to tell you and long story short..the team are here and me and the girls are having girls night in. Didn't want you to miss it so figured we could have you on the phone so you can be with us." I told her. I wanted mom to be here but I couldn't ask her to drive all the way over.
