**Sophie's POV**
When it clicked, I was in shock. A tear started streaming down my face and my vision was going blurry. Surely it couldn't be true. Surely my mom couldn't be dead.
"Sophie...it's..." Dad started but I cut him off.
"You don't need to tell me daddy. I know she's gone." I cried. I ran over to dad and hugged him tightly.
I couldn't say it. I would not say the words, mom is dead because I didn't want them to be true.
"Baby, we're all here for you. If you need anything, then talk to one of us." Jackie told me.
No! I was not going to let her replace mom. I wasn't.
"Get out of my house!" I screamed at Jackie.
Dad stared at me.
"Get out! You're here to replace her. She's not even gone a day and you're here to replace her. Get out!" I shouted.
"Jack..." Dad started.
"I'll see you at the office." Jackie said and left the house before dad could stop her.
"She hasn't been gone a day and you've replaced her. Did she mean anything to you?" I shouted at dad.
"Sophie, we understand that you're hurting, but that's no way to speak to your father!" Abby told me sternly.
"Abby. I can handle this." Dad said.
"Sophie listen to me. She is here as my friend. She is here as your friend. Jack isn't here to replace anyone. We all know that your mom can't be replaced." Dad told me.
Then it hit me. Ziva and Tony shouldn't have even been there in the first place. Dad should've been there. If dad was there, there would be no way that mom would be dead.
"You're the reason she's dead." I whispered.
Abby stared at me hard while dad just looked wounded.
**Abby's POV**
I knew that Sophie was hurting. She had just lost her mother. I understood her lashing out on Sloane, but there was no excuse for her blaming Gibbs for Jenny's death.
"No he's not Sophie. You know that." I told her sternly.
"Yes he is. He should've been there in California. If he had been there, none of this would've happened." Sophie said angrily. Every time Sophie said he, she pointed at Gibbs.
"Sophie stop. If you go any further, you won't be able to take it back." I warned her.
"You're gonna have to love you life thinking, what if... What if I had gone? And I hope it drives you insane!" She screamed before running upstairs.
I just looked at Gibbs. He was hurt. He had tears coming down his face.
"Listen to me. You know that she doesn't believe what she just right?" I asked him.
"But since I found out she's dead, all that I've been thinking is what if! Sophie's right. She's absolutely right. Jenny's death is all my fault." He said and held his head in his hands.
**Sophie's POV**
I packed a rucksack. I wasn't going to stay under the same roof as the man who was the reason my mother was dead. I was going to stay at Uncle Chris's house.
"Gibbs, Abby, I'm staying at Uncle Chris's house. You can either drop me, or I'll catch a bus." I said. I didn't even call him dad. That's how much he hurt me.
