Why can't I be a ninja? I mean, I'm small, I'm fast, I can learn Kung-fu! But then again, I would rather be a superhero! Then I could wear cool outfits and fight bad guys and save kittens from trees! Andrew could be my sidekick too! We could be "The Amazing Super-Girl and Monkey-Boy" ! That would be awesome.
I was jolted out of my thoughts when my shopping cart crashes into someone else's. "Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." I apologized.
"It's fine. Honestly, neither was I." He laughed. "I'm Diego." He stuck out his hand.
I shook it and introduced myself. "I'm Molly. Nice to meet you. See ya around!" I started skipping and pushed my wagon down the aisle. Then I froze. "Wait!" He stopped and looked at me. "Diego as in Diego who just took Mia to a party, Diego?"
He scratched the back of his neck. "Um...yeah? I guess you know her then?" Guilt flashed through his eyes.
"Yeah, I do." I smiled and spun on my heels. "Nice meeting you!" I left Diego standing there on his own.
He's cute. Kinda like in between super adorable and super hot. Yup.....I think I definitely rather be a ninja....
