Ashley's POV
"You're so sweet, but I'm over all that now, what's really bothering me is that phone call I just had.. that was my dad" Nash said..
I remained quiet for what was about to come out of Nash's mouth
"They want to see me" he said
"OK great! then you should see them"
"You don't understand it's not the same anymore.. I've haven't talked to them in a really long time and I haven't seen them ever since they traveled , Talking to your parents on Skype is in the same as living with them, it's like I don't even know them anymore" Nash said with sadness in his eyes
"I understand that.. I really do, but you have to put all of this behind you and just let everything go. They had to do with they thought they needed to do and now look at you you're closer than ever with your aunt, you're here with us and your sister is achieving her dream so let it go and forgive them.. you don't have forever with them you know.." I said
"I know.. you're right, I should see them"
"Yes you should! I'm proud of how mature you are about this" I smiled reached out for Nash's hand and he took mine in his..
"But I need you to come with me when I go meet them, can you you do that for me Ash?" Nash hesitantly asked
"Yes! Yes I can"
"Promise me" Nash suddenly turned into a five year old and made me promise him to tag along, and so I went with the it
"I promise", I pressed his hand tightly to assure him and then I tucked him along to were our friends were dancing
"Thank you!" Nash whispered right before we reached were they were, I smiled widely before he hugged me and I wasn't sure what to do about it so I just stood there for a few seconds before I hugged him back..
"I've got you Nash, just like you've got me" I said in his embrace, and so he tightened the embrace before he let go and started walking towards our friends and so I followed
For the rest of the night we all just danced and laughed our hearts out before it was time to go home, Melissa said she needed to get to her house to spend some time with her family, and so she tagged along with Leo since he lived on her same street, and so Nash and I went on our ways just like everyone else did..
For the car ride home we hummed to some calm music and just like that I fell asleep, "I love you baby Ash, but I can't" seemed to be the last thing I heard before my dreams and fantasy world kicked in and I lost it..

I woke up in my bed, and just as I adjusted my eyes to the brightness of the sun I came to notice that I was IN MY BED.. and it was MORNING..??
What happened yesterday??!
And just as if Leila could read my mind, she came in and said "Hey princess" with a funny voice which I assumed was a terrible mimicking of my dad's greeting to me
"Heyy Lel.. How did I ..?" And I was mid sentence when Leila said "Nash drove you home and dad carried you upstairs and tucked you in your bed, how cute is he?" Leila explained
"Dad's the cutest" I gushed, "I meant Nash but okay whatever" Leila winked and walked outside of my room..
What's up with kids nowadays right??
Anyways so today was Saturday and so I decided to stay in, order pizzas and watch Netflix until I drift back to sleep again, but of course Melissa had to happen
"RISE AND SHINE ASHBEAR" Melissa almost made me go deaf
"Why so happy?"
"Why can't I be?"
I groaned because I just wanted to have peace to myself, no funny remarks no plans and I just knew what I was about to get myself into..
"Come on get up we have a party to go to.." Melissa said
"Mel, I think I've had enough parties for this year, you go have fun" I air kissed her
"There's no fun without you AshBear"
"Nice try, but I really don't want to go, send me pictures from the party.."
"But I called Leo and told him he was coming and pure guy was so excited to see you.."
"Yeah right, dude! Leo is all over you" I exclaimed
"What are you? Blind? No he isn't, he obviously liked you" she defended her theory
"But yesterday when I got back with Nash, it seemed like you two were having lots of fun, you should totally go with him tonight, it will be 'not a date' date" I suggested
"You officially lost your last cell of this brain of yours" Melissa said
"For you MelBear" I winked teasingly
And just as she was about to retort back her phone rang..
"Hey Leo! Ashley doesn't want to come, want to have a raincheck?" Melissa said
"Oh, yeah I would love to.. great I'll be ready in five minutes" Melissa said before hanging up..
"Don't even.." Melissa warned before she started running everywhere in the room to get ready
Five minutes later Melissa was ready and all shiny and was heading downstairs to wait for Leo to pick her up since they obviously agreed to go together to the party.. aka the 'not a date' date!
An hour later I set my favorite Netflix movie on and had the pizza I ordered delivered and was about to devour it when my bedroom door open and there was Nash standing with another pizza box and two soda bottles
"So what are we watching" Nash grinned..
