Ashley's POV
The day passed by and here I was, in the car with Leo, driving to my house.
No one of us was talking, but it didn't bother us, we just kept listening to whatever the radio put on for us to listen.
"You okay?" Leo asked.
"Yeah, I'm sorry about earlier, I was just sensi..."
"Don't apologize Ashley, there's nothing to be sorry about. We're friends now right ?"
"Umm, yes?"
"Then you can trust me with your emotions, friends cry and laugh with each other that's totally normal"
I genuinely smiled when he says that, I've never been the kind of girl who befriends everyone, I've always been in my own shell, and whoever breaks into it was considered mad lucky because I never really allowed it to happen as much.
But he was right anyways, what are friends for if you can't trust them with your tears and wounds, they come into our lives , get close and unintentionally.
"Hey Ash, wake up we're here!" I faintly heard Leo say.
"Ash come on wake up!"
"Fine fine I'm up! Where are we?" I asked confusedly.
"DisneyLand" Leo mocked.
"Haha, help me get out of this car you smartpants" I started to open the car and shifted my body to face outdoor when Leo made it to my door side and helped me out of the car very smoothly.
"Wanna come in?" I asked Leo nicely
"Can't, got some errands to run, maybe some other time?"
"Yeah sure, thanks for the ride!"
"Sure anytime, same time tomorrow?"
"Yeah perfect, see you then"
"Bye" and with that Leo disappeared into his car and drove away.
I put the key into the door and flip it open knowing that no one is probably home, I help myself inside and upstairs and once I'm into my bedroom I see Nash sitting there on my bed!!
"What are you doing here" I asked while out of breath because of the scare he gave me.
"Leo drove you here?" He completely dodged my question and asked me.
"Yes. Who let you in the house?" I asked again hoping he would justify
"So for how long will he be driving you to and from school?"
"As long as I can't drive. So why are you in my bedroom and specifically why are you sitting on my bed?"
"I don't like Leo, I'm driving you to and from school until you can drive yourself" he stated while brushing by me and out of my bedroom.
"Excuse me? What are you talking about? You don't even know Leo!" I said furiously but he continued walking and completely ignored me..
"HEY! I'm talking to you where are you going!?"
"Kitchen. I'm hungry"
"You're an asshole do you know that? I don't care whether you like Leo or not or whether I.... AHHH!" and with my anger blinding me, I flip over my broken leg in the heavy cast and fall over the last couple of flights to the stairs.
"Hey are you okay!!?" Nash came running to me with worry on his face.
"No I'm not okay! My boyfriend broke up with me and kissed the girl I hate the most, then minutes later my bestfriend kissed her, so I run out of this fucking mad house to get hit by a car and have my leg broken, so the guy who hit me felt guilty and decided to help, then he turns out to be the bitch's brother, and so she got mad at him for being friends with me and decided on bullying me and insulting me in front of the whole school, then my bestfriend saw me crying and didn't give two damns, and now here he is giving me attitude when I'm the one who is supposed to be mad at him! So NO I'M NOT OKAY, now get your hands of my shoulder and go away, I want to be alone" I tried to ease my breathing down a bit and calm myself down but I failed to.
"You're right. I am an asshole"
"Yeah I know already"
"I'm sorry" Nash said with honest guilt and care.
"It's okay, just let me be alone for the moment" I tried to get up from the ground and when Nash noticed he grabbed my hand and helped me up to me feet.
"Your sister let me in before she and Ryan went to their swimming practice, and I was here because I couldn't stand see you cry today at school and not be able to wipe your tears away, and I was in your bedroom because I was curious about it" he looked away
"What do you have against Leo? Why don't you like him? I asked curiously since he was on an answering spree.
"I don't like him, he's suspicious" Nash said while walking away
"He's really nice, you should get to know him more" I defended Leo
"You should be bestfriends with him then" He shouted back
"Hey!! cut the attitude what's wrong with you?"
"You want to know what's the problem with me? He stormed towards me
"Yes please" I shouted back
"You are" and with that he kissed me!
wait what? Nash was kissing me, his lips were on mine and it felt.. it felt right? what the hell was happening? this couldn't be happening..
This would ruin our whole friendship dynamic! I needed to stop that from happening.
I laid my hand on his chest and was about to push him away, or at least that's what I thought..
I ended up pulling him closer to me, what was I doing?!
We ended up kissing for what seemed like forever before we cut it out to take our breaths
We laid our heads against each other and I kept my hands on his chest, then he moved one of his hand from on my waist to my chin and pushed my head upwards so our eyes would meet..
"You are my problem Ash.." He said with what seemed like glint in his eyes and my heart raced inside my chest
Was I falling for my bestfriend?
