Chapter 12

As Tsuna and Enma awoke they could feel a strange and uneasy feeling creep on them. Reborn yet to return from talking to the man they had meet before. Looking out the window they noticed that it was already morning, feeling unsure of whether to wait in the room or go look for Reborn they both began to have a miny panic attack. After they both calmed down they headed down to the dining area of the inn and were relieved to find Reborn. Reborn calmly sipped the same drink he had last night as he watched them come over to him. "It too you two long enough to wake up." Reborn said

"Um... Reborn why didn't you come to the room last night?" ask Tsuna as he sat down.

"I was discussing things with my friend. *Smirk*" Reborn said to which Tsuna began to sweat. Enma may not have HI but at that moment he knew whatever Reborn would say next would be terribly difficult. "On every tenth floor there is a PvP test you and another being will be forced into an arena and you'll have to battle each other if you will you can choose to let them keep their points or take the others points if you let them keep their points they can try the floor again and lose twenty point. If you take their points you can keep them all and the other loses." Tsuna and Enma let out a breath they had held and relaxed. "DameTsuna, Loser Enma there are not any kind people here who would let you keep your points. From what I have heard every tenth floor you will need to pay a certain amount of points. On the tenth its twenty and on the next it forty although the amount of points we get will increases with the levels of the tasks others may have used their points on weapons and other items not to mention if they can complete the tasks they might not have enough points to pay."

"If we beat them we can still let them go right?" asked Tsuna. As Tsuna had predicted Reborn hit him and frowned.

"If you win you must take the points if you leave them a way out they might come back for revenge. There are a lot of people in here but most of them have one thing in common they are willing to do anything to prevent future problems from appearing. That's why for the next few floors after finishing the tasks you two will spare with each other five times a day and on the day before the door opens you two will spare with me." Reborn said

As if they had woken up from a long dream two months later they found themselves in the ninth floor waiting in a group of people for the door to appear. In those two cruel months they were beaten by Reborn over and over. Reborn had not only been gaining power ever floor but was getting stronger. Tsuna and Enma were covered by bruise curtesy of a certain Demon something Tsuna had noticed when they had crossed the eight floor was the other people there they had apparently been stuck on the last few levels and had to take a few months to get to this level they had been waiting there for the next group since if someone lost they would have to wait for the next new beings to fight only three of the current group around them would be chosen to fight them but everyone wanted a chance to progress since they had long finished the tasks and had no other way of gaining points.

At the moment Tsunas points were 389 they had been alone twice and defaulted as in the top ten. Enma was at 388 and Reborn was 389 the three of them had been keeping a close eye on their points as to not stay behind. As time passed the door appeared and only six people were able to walk thru. They were greeted by the a different being that they had previously seen. She was a beautiful woman her hair was made of light and her body gave off sense of strength her clothing seemed to be constantly changing light colors. Two wings on her back lightly dropped of light particles as they moved her face seemed to be hidden by the light but could not change the natural beauty she gave off.

"Congratulations on making it to the tenth trial. In this trial you must fight with an opponent to pass to the next floor. After your battle the winning side can chose to take all the point in your opponent's card or spare them and take non. You must remember that every tenth floor you must pay an amount of points to pass even if you win. If you win and do not have enough points you will be forced to stay on this floor and will be placed on the last slot when choosing a new opponent. If you have points and refuse to give them it is an automatic loss no retries. At the end of this trial you will gain a revive which can be used to teleport you out of a trial back to the floor before, so you can have a chance to try that floor again." The woman said in a patient manner.
