"they are mad at us.” Cheryl said as she looked at Kevin and toni.
"No doubt about that"  toni nodded.

"We just supported them. Those people were wrong to judge her" Cheryl explained herself.

Toni sighed "i think, in some weird way, they feel responsible about it happening"

Kevin looked at her bewildered "what? How would they consider that?"

"If you've noticed, before Archie and betty started cheating, they weren't spending as much time as they spent before with them. They were always busy. Archie with betty and Veronica with jughead. What if they think that maybe at that time,.if they had spent their time with them this wouldn't have happened" toni explained

"But still, just like archie and betty, even jughead and Veronica stayed together for long time, did they cheat? No. They were honest. It wasn't their fault" Kevin said

Toni nodded agreeing with him"explain that to those 2 knuckleheads"

"They'll get over it" Cheryl said.

"God, that was intense and so unnecessary" Veronica stated as soon as they were out of the cafeteria.

"Do you really think it was unnecessary? Its about time someone answered back to all those people spreading wrong words. They were protecting you." Jughead said as he stood next to her.

"Yeah, but was it really fruitful? They're quiet today, but tomorrow they will find another reason to torment us. Its a continuous cycle of hatred and torment which can't be broken, unless someone proves to be a bigger person and let go" Veronica said

"God Veronica, since when did u become a spiritual person?" He said shocked by her words.

"Oh don't get me wrong, i actually enjoyed that little scene there. The moment they were all quiet i wanted to shout why so quiet now? It felt good to show them their place, even of its not done by me."

He slid his fingers through his hair frustrated by the girl standing next to him "you're confusing me Veronica"

"Lets just say im a devil, with an angelic side" she smirked

"More like the devil herself" he mumbled to himself

"I heard that!" She said as she looked at him sneakily.

"Heard what? I didn't say anything!" He said as he suddenly quickened his pace

"Where are you going?" She said as she followed him

"Trying to escape you!" Jughead teased

"Oh i won't let you go that easily Juggy" Veronica teased as she ran and jumped on his back.

Jughead stumbled at first but then got hold of her legs as if to hold on to her so that she wouldn't fall and carried her on her back

"What are you doing Veronica?" He sighed

"I don't want to walk, so you can walk for me!" Veronica said

Jughead laughed "you're too much. I don't know how will i handle you"

"Oh please, you love me"  she said in the heat of the moment laughing.

He suddenly stopped, and Veronica realised what she had just blurted out.

To lighten the situation he suddenly said "more like i tolerate you"

She shook her head and laughed "oh please, you don't tolerate Veronica lodge, Veronica lodge tolerates people"

"Why are you referencing yourself in third person?"

"Because jughead. I do. Its simple as that" Veronica said smugly

"Wait where are we going?" Veronica questioned when she saw jughead heading to the exit.

He laughed " i listened to you when u said we need to go to school, so now you will listen to me when I'm saying we're taking the rest of the day off."

She laughed "well, i guess thats fair. So where are you taking me?"

"I want to show you a place." Jughead said as he shrugged at her with her still on his back.

"What place?"

"Geez, Veronica you ask alot of questions"

"And you don't answer me, geez" Veronica retorted.

"Just trust me okay?"

"Okay"

"Okay? Just like that?"

"God jughead what do you want?" She said

He smiled. And slowly and gently placed her back on her feet.

"Lets go okay?"

She nodded.

She got on his bike and saw that he had drove them to the bijou where currently a recent teen fiction movie was being Played
"Jughead what are we doing here? Don't tell me we're here to watch this movie?" She grimaced

"Kind off. Lets go" he took her hand and lead her inside they climbed up and jughead soon took her to the camera room.

"Wow. I have never been in a place like this"

"This place reminds me of home"

She looked at him softly "do you miss the drive in?"

"Yeah, that place gave me independence, and i was doing something i enjoyed"

She nodded " i feel the same way about pops"

He smiled at her. "Remember how you were trying to console me when i was ranting about the drive in being closed?"

"Yeah i remember, i failed miserably"

"You did." He laughed

"I miss the drive in" she suddenly spoke up.

He smirked "really coz as i recall, you said to not think about it that much since there are newer means to watch movies."

"To be honest, at that time I didn't really realise the beauty and the fun of the drive in."

Jughead just smiled at her.

They sat close to each other as they quietly watched the movie.

"We are watching something very stupid jughead" Veronica remarked

"I know. But sometimes, its okay to do something stupid" he answered her

"Come on jug teen fiction?"

" Ok i kind of get your point" he said as he grimaced a little.

"Want to do something cool?" Jughead said

"Yes"

"I have a can of spray paint in my bag. Don't ask why i have it. Lets tag this place"

"Isn't that a criminal offence?"

He shrugged. There weren't cameras here, so they won't find out who did it.

She started to smile "lets do it"

They both got up and started to spray paint the room, jughead made a J with a crown next to it and Veronica made a V with a heel next it, and wrote 'were here'
