Veronica felt stupid. What if he doesn't read it? What if he doesn't know it's me? What if he wanted to come, but he couldn't manage time from his busy schedule? Or what if he cant make it back to Riverdale? So many what ifs

"Uhhhhhh!!!!!!" Veronica felt frustrated. She felt good when she published the article, but now all she was having were doubts. What would she do,if he didn't show up? Would she be able to go through another heartbreak?

And the worse part, she can't blame anyone else but herself for this. She pushed him away, he tried to talk to her during graduation as well, but she didn't let him. She let go of him.

She knows that just because she let him go, it has to be her who takes the first step. But she knows, that if he didn't show up, she would be devastated and will not try again to win Jughead back. That would be it.

She was going to Riverdale anyway tomorrow, there was small reunion being held. At first she decided not to go, but betty persuade her to attend. Not many people were coming, it was just Veronica, Archie, betty, Kevin, Cheryl, toni, sweet pea, fangs and maybe Jughead if he decides to show up.

She was excited to go back, she wanted to see how pops was doing and la bonne nuit. She sighed when she thought about this. It was the first time Veronica owned something and successfully ran it. After all, she got her business IQ from her father, but unlike him, she ran it the right way.

She was all packed, and had decided instead of a flight back, she would do a road trip. The road trip was basically another way fro helping Veronica gather her nerves.

Jughead had gotten a call about the reunion, but was skeptical, he didn't think he was ready, to go back to Riverdale, where it all started. He knew Veronica was going to be there. It took everything in him to leave that time, so he didn't know how he would face her again, when all he wanted was to hold her close again.

There had been no one after Veronica. He loved her, he still does, and he will always only love her. He doesn't know how it happened, he he fell madly, deeply, irrevocably in love with her.

He was hurt when she said she wanted to take a break, but he also knew at that particular time, with the situation around them, for her, breaking up was the only option. He didn't trust her, she didn't trust him, it was as simple as that. They both had families with trust issues, if that wasn't present in their relationship, they both wouldn't have been happy. But what hurt him more was that, she never tried to contact him, never tried to call, doesn't she know he'll take her back the instant she says that she wants to be with him?

The day of the graduation, he knew by Veronica's expression, she still loved him, just like he loved her. Why couldn't she have said anything to him then? Will she never be ready? Has she given up on him?

He read the magazine, you first, and went ahead to read a particular article. He knew Veronica wrote articles in this magazine, he always did. He could identify that it was her the instant he read her article. It was her  style of writing. He stumbled on it by accident. His publisher was discussing with him, that there was a new writer Monica, who wrote in this magazine you first, and how amazing she is. She made me read her article and from then on i always bought the latest issue of the magazine just to read her articles.

He finally got to the page when her articles are present, and was pleasantly surprised at what she had written. He had a huge smile as he read the full article.

She wanted him back! And she apologized, she said she regretted it! For the first time, in a long time Jughead felt truly happy, overjoyed and finally felt complete.

How could she even think that, if he feels the same way, of course he does! This was what he wanted.

That decides it. He's going to Riverdale. The place where he first met her, the place where be found his one true love.
