"So, it's game," Seonghwa announced, placing his skateboard on the ground and resting his left foot on it. "Where's your board, Red?" His eyes trail down to the ground, searching for a skateboard before raising a brow, flicking his eyes back at the anxious boy.

"Aha! You see, I don't have it with me. Sucks, right? Now I can't race up against you. Too bad, so sad." Hongjoong answered back with an awkward giggle, fiddling around with his school sweater.

"Isn't that too bad?" The girl on Seonghwa's arm pout. "Kai, give him your board."

"Awe, but what if he messes it up?" The guy at the bottom of the staircase whined as he held his board to his chest. "And I got fresh new paint on it, it looks dope! He'll mess it up—"

"I wasn't asking." The girl snarled, glaring at the boy who shortly shuts his mouth and hands Hongjoong his skateboard with a small grumble under his breath.

"Mess it up and I'll fuck you up at the back of the park," Kai murmured before sitting back down in his previous seat.

"Great. Now you have a board, let's go." Seonghwa smiled at Hongjoong, the redhead smiling back nervously with a weak nod.

"Great... I have a board!" Hongjoong repeated unenthusiastically, staring at the gruesome painting on the board and grimace. He swore he saw a pair of poorly drawn breasts somewhere on the board, and he wasn't going to check if his prediction was correct. Many teenagers gathered around the sides, ready to watch Seonghwa win this race, as he always does. Hongjoong didn't have a helmet or any elbow pads — more anxious than before, but he didn't dare ask for any since Seonghwa didn't obtain any. He'll just make a fool of himself if he asks.

"The rules are simple," Seonghwa's girlfriend said. "All you have to do is skate on the ramps—" Hongjoong tuned her demanding voice out, his nerves getting the best of him. He wasn't prepared— even though he could win this race if he made an effort to, but he doesn't know anything about Seonghwa. He doesn't know what kind of tricks the blonde will try to pull, for all Hongjoong knows, Seonghwa probably cheats to win!

"Red," Seonghwa's girlfriend called out to Hongjoong in annoyance, snapping him out of his thoughts. "The race already started." Everyone was already snickering since he spaced out, giving Seonghwa a head start to the finishing line. His face turns a light shade of pink before he begins skating, following the ramps, and trying his absolute best to catch up. Which seemed impossible... Seonghwa was already ahead of him, swiftly skating down the staircase railing and out the skatepark.
