WARNING: Violence.Wooyoung didn't notice at first, he didn't catch on to Hongjoong's unusual behavior whenever they'd meet during lunch. He only brushed it off, thinking that Hongjoong was lost in his thoughts about class again since the younger male had questioned Hongjoong about it a while back.
That seemed to tick Hongjoong into a rant about his failing grade because his teacher doesn't teach well— Or something along those lines. Wooyoung blocked him out after two minutes into the rant. Yet, it started to become more apparent when Hongjoong would release a loud, exaggerated sigh. His head tilted downwards, eyes staring into nothing before blinking back into reality followed by another exaggerated sigh.
At first, Wooyoung grew annoyed by it. He didn't know why it was annoying him; perhaps Hongjoong sighs every five seconds, or it was so exaggerated to the point that it sounded like Hongjoong wanted Wooyoung to turn to him and tell him to shut up. Usually, if it was about a class or something that happened at home, Hongjoong would have asked Wooyoung a question revolving around his situation to see if Wooyoung would tell him something that could somewhat help Hongjoong, but none of that happened.
By the end of the week, Wooyoung was concerned about Hongjoong's behavior. He wanted to ask if he's okay, pet the older male on the head like the redhead does to Wooyoung when he falls asleep on his lap, and quietly listen to Hongjoong talk about his problems. Another exaggerated sigh broke Wooyoung from his thoughts, causing him to look at the Hongjoong. He was slouching over his homework, pencil in hand as he shook his head again.
The two sat in their usual spot by the lockers, legs crossed, and bags placed by their sides. It was a rare occasion when this happened, only when Wooyoung decides to come to school early and surprise the older male by jumping on his back and biting his shoulder, causing Hongjoong to push him off and scold him.
"Hyung-ie," Wooyoung calls out, catching the attention of the redhead who looks up with tired eyes. Wooyoung stared at him for a moment, wanting to ask the question that was sitting in his throat, waiting to escape.
Hongjoong blinks at the younger male in confusion, tilting his head to the side. "Hm?"
"Do you want to hang out at the usual place today?" Wooyoung asked. The usual place is the little skatepark that the two are familiar with since it's usually empty.
Hongjoong blinks at the blue-haired male before a small smile spreads across his face. The worried expression on Wooyoung's face didn't go unnoticed and Hongjoong knows he's trying his best to cheer up the redhead, and it made Hongjoong feel warm inside.
