"Seong..." A sudden burst of light blinded Seonghwa's eyes, the black-haired male squinting through the darkness and at the bright light calling his name.

'Where am I?' He peers down at his hands, cleaned from bruises and marks, blinking at the clothes he was wearing, all silver. He took in his surroundings, everything pitch black, resembling an endless pit and giving off an eerie feeling the deeper you stare. He looked behind him, seeing what looked like shadows mingling in the distance, luring Seonghwa in, but he didn't go. It scared him, seeing those figures and he wanted to get away as fast as he could.

"Hwa..." The voice wept, breaking Seonghwa's heart from how sad they sounded.

'Who is calling me? Why do you sound so sad?' Seonghwa walked closer to the bright light, blinking from how it shone into his eyes, using one hand to hover over his eyes as he walked closer.

"Hey..." The voice sounded closer, much closer than before and Seonghwa's heart pounded as he slowly began to recognize the voice.

The air around Seonghwa felt thick, thicker than it should be making it so hard for him to breathe. 'I need to get out of here!' He picks up the pace, smiling as the voice calls for him more, talking to him every day as he lies there, asleep, waiting to wake up one day. 'One day.' Seonghwa began to jog. He doesn't want to wake up one day, he wants to wake up now.

"Baby..." Seonghwa's bare feet pressed hard against the soaking soil beneath him as he ran, running faster and faster towards the light as his breath became heavy, his chest tightening but he never stopped. He needed to go to that voice, he needed to see them again. "Seonghwa," He opened his eyes, vision hazy as he blinked a couple of times from the brightness of the hospital's lights. The first thing that pierced his eardrums was the heart monitor, beeping at a constant rate of his heartbeat. "Oh, my God, y-you're awake!"

Seonghwa swallows dryly, grimacing at the feeling of his tight throat opening uncomfortable and pushing down his spit as a substitute for water. He sluggishly drifts his blurry gaze to the side of him, wanting to let out a happy laugh when he caught sight of Changho's face, sharp exhausted eyes staring at him with an excited smile spreading across his face. "W..." Seonghwa couldn't speak, it hurt too much to do so.

"No, no, no, baby, don't speak. I'm gonna get the nurse and tell her you're awake, okay?" He presses a kiss to Seonghwa's sweaty forehead before exiting out of the room to get a nurse as Seonghwa laid on the hospital bed, blinking slowly.

He looked down at his hands, one hand weakly twitching his fingers while the other pained him too much to move as he had an IV in. All the bruises and cuts littering his arms and hands were exposed, all of them slowly healing as his body rested for God knows for how long. He shifts his body the slightest and bites back a groan of pain, moving his body hurts like a bitch... 'What happened?' Seonghwa swore he died underneath his father from his merciless beating.
