WARNING: Underage drinking. Please do not sexualize the word 'Oppa'! Thank you."Thank you for coming, have a good day!" Seonghwa says cheerfully, smiling small at a couple as he waved goodbye. The girl waves goodbye before intertwining her fingers with her boyfriend as the two exits the building. Seonghwa began working at the rollerblade rink as a summer job to get away from home and away from his father, it was the best way to make money and be free for a little while.
His coworkers are nice — nicer than the kids that hang around Eunjin during school or when Seonghwa is forced to hang-out with her. It's refreshing to work at a place where everyone greets each other with smiles or makes jokes once in a while to lighten up the mood when there was a bad customer.
"Seonghwa-Hyung!" Seonghwa looks up from the counter that he was wiping clean, smiling at his coworker, Changho. Out of all the employees that Seonghwa works with, Changho has been the main one starting up conversations with Seonghwa until Changho gets into trouble with the manager and forces him to go back to work at the food court.
Changho is one of the tallest workers there and sometimes the other employees would make fun of his pants since they were always short on him, and looked like he stole his jeans from the children section. The first thing that stuck out to Seonghwa when he first met Changho was his black mullet that always had three little braids at the back. Seonghwa had asked him one day about the braids and Changho admitted that his little sisters like to braid his hair, and once in a while, they added pink clips to them.
Honestly, Seonghwa finds Changho attractive and wonders why the girls don't flaunt over him as they do with Seonghwa until he found out the moment Changho opens his mouth, everyone places their hands over their ears to ignore his whines because it always annoys the shit out of them. And to add to this human mess, Changho is clumsy, constantly tripping over his own feet or snoozing during working hours which always gets him in trouble with the managers and other coworkers.
To say the least, Seonghwa was surprised that they didn't fire Changho the moment he messed up only to find out that his great, great grandfather was one of the owners of the rollerblade rink before he passed, so they can't exactly fire him.
"Wassup?" Seonghwa tilts his head to the side with a little smile, the taller boy squeezing in between two girls that were waiting for their skates and leans over the counter, his elbows perching him up as he smiles brightly at Seonghwa.
"There's a bangin' party next weekend," Changho said loudly. "The girls wanted to invite ya' but they got too shy, so I'm gonna ask you before they do!" He points over to two girls over at the food court tables, cleaning and giggling to one another. "They have no idea I'm asking you, so they're gonna be so pissed when they find out I asked you first."
