Testing waters

Ch.5 a 1 on 1 food fight

I made my way to the lunch room and found an empty table where I could sit. I just ate an apple because the food looked horrible, I knew it would be horrible, but I'm too lazy to pack a lunch.

It was weird being at a table alone it's never something you really get used to. To make up for the lack of friends I took out my phone and started playing some kind of game.

I continued playing until someone sat across from me, I shoved my phone back in my pocket and looked up only to find Dustin, Tristan and Jenna lucky me there all in my lunch.

"Hey savvy" Jenna snickered. I grabbed my lunch got up and walked away, but of course they all followed me. I found another empty table across the cafeteria and sat down.

"Could you like not stalk me?" I sarcastically said. "Stop trying to act smart" Dustin snapped. These people were really bad at comebacks oh my god. I chuckled at his stupid response and went back to eating my apple that's when Jenna grabbed my lunch tray filled with filthy lasagna and shoved it at me.

Of course, my outfit was completely ruined and everything else. I shrieked and dropped my apple. "Oh I'm sorry are you mad savvy?" She snickered. I stormed out of the cafeteria.... Who am I kidding, I literally ran like I was being chased by the devil himself out of the cafeteria to the nearest girls' bathroom.

As soon as I got into the bathroom, I found a group of popular girls in there already. They all laughed at me. As soon as I saw them, I turned around and ran to another girls' bathroom praying that it was empty... Moment of truth, I opened the door and yes , yes it was empty.

I looked at myself in the mirror and almost laughed at myself. My glasses were even covered in pasty tomato sauce, luckily none of it got in my hair. I tried to wash off as much as I could and thankfully it didn't really show up on my black leggings but my top was basically red now. I ran to my locker to grab a sweatshirt through it over my head and took the walk of shame back to the cafeteria.
