Ok.
Iconis just announced what is happened on August 11, 2019. Be More Chill is closing from Broadway. Like it's done. I am... in tears right now. This is difficult for everyone who has loved Be More Chill before they close. Some because they have not seen it or will be able to. Others because they would not be able to see it ever again.
But hopefully.
I hope with all of my heart.
That they will reopen it with a tour or something. Re-open it again. Make another version. Not that the current one is not good. But add to it and make it better.
I love Joe Iconis. I love the cast and crew of Be More Chill. So much. If BMC doesn't open once more I thank you guys so fricking much for all of your work. <3
And then. Three days later: I have finally seen the show. My voice is fine due to the fact I yelled so much. It was totally awesome. I loved it so much. George Salazar, Will Roland, Stephanie Hsu, And everyone in the cast (including the two understudies) were amazing!!!!!
