Evelyn's business in selling acne cream was going well, she and Nicole had been to Hogsmeade with their pockets loaded. The best part was that no one knew it was them. No one would suspect two thirteen-year-old Hufflepuffs! It was perfect. Hogsmeade was cool and all and unsurprisingly Jemison didn't work on Hogsmeade days.
It was March, and Evelyn and Nicole were sitting in the Great Hall doing work for astronomy. Nicole and Evelyn were trying to figure out what the star Sirius was also referred to when an owl came crashing into their bags out of nowhere.
Evelyn picked up her bag and took the note off the owl's foot, gave him a treat and he left. Evelyn read the letter-
'Hey, dear cousin of mine! How ya been? Well anyway, we've decided that you and your parents are gonna fly down here this summer to come out and see us. It's been too long since we've seen y'all in the flesh. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that!'
- Ed P.
Evelyn smiled at the note. Nicole was reading over her shoulder and had a worried face. "So you're going to America this summer?" she asked sitting down. Evelyn turned to her and raised an eyebrow. " No- we're going to America this summer, but be warned- during the 4th of July things get crazy," she said giving a small laugh. Nicole's mouth dropped. "OH MY MERLIN!" she shouted with glee, causing many other students to shush her. She didn't pay them any attention as she wrapped Evelyn in a hug.

It was their last Hogsmeade trip for the year, but Nicole couldn't go due to the fact Prof. La Crombe made her stay for some extra help on the upcoming exams, much to Nicole's displeasure. So Evelyn went alone. When Evelyn was alone she started thinking, she decided to walk rather than take the carriages. She looked over the Forbidden Forest and saw a group of Threstals.
She gave a heavy sigh, it had been almost two years since she had seen that Auror die. She hadn't told anyone, but for some reason seeing someone die wasn't as disturbing as she thought it would be.
He was hit by the killing curse, so it wasn't like it was painful, if she were to see him die in a more cruel manner she guessed it would have scared her. The most disturbing thing about it though was just that, it didn't bother her as it should.
With a sigh, she pushed these thoughts from her mind and sped up and eventually arriving at the village.

Fabian was bored out of his mind. Gideon and Hestia were off somewhere, probably snogging. So he was alone and he was bored out of his mind. He wanted to stay at school but Gideon said he just had to come! And he ditches him. Fabian decides to go back to the school but stops in his tracks when he sees a certain Ms.Truelove walking all by her lonesome.
He raised an eyebrow. Truelove was never on her own, she always had Blanton with her. He considered Truelove a friend you could say- well close to a friend. He was fond of the girl and her fiery temper. Evelyn was pretty for a thirteen old, it was obvious really, Fabian would bet his life she would be beautiful when she was older.
He decided to approach her and chat. " Oi Truelove!" he shouted across the street. Evelyn's head snapped toward his voice, Fabian smirked when her curls hit her face. " Hello there," he said smirking. She gave him a polite " Hello." she said simply.
" So what is the Evelyn Truelove doing out here all by her lonesome," he said with a boyish grin. She rolled her eyes but was smiling none the less. " I was going to Honeydukes," she replied. " Oh? Well why don't I escort you there Madame and purchase you some sweets?" he asked jokingly. Evelyn gave a warmed laugh. " Thank you, kind sir, but I think I can find the way, and besides I believe I can purchase some 'sweets' myself," she said mockingly, holding up a sack full of what sounded like Galleons.
