A muggle family, by the name of Evans was attacked yesterday at around 3:40 a.m, the muggles were killed by the killing curse, but everything in the house is intact except for drawers and other possessions being rummaged through. ( See pg. 2 for details on the investigation ) The muggles were parents to Lily K. Potter nee Evans, who is a muggle born witch. The family refuses to give a word, but the funeral for the couple will be held in a few days time.

This is not the only muggle family to be victims to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's attacks. Due to these unfortunate events the Ministry of Magic implores all citizen's to stay safe and be on guard. ( For more details turn to pg.8)..............

The funeral was quiet and depressing, no one smiled, no one laughed. All that could be heard were the soft sobs of Lily Potter and the other family members.

After the funeral Petunia Dursley came rushing up to Lily," You freak!" she screamed," This is all your fault!" Lily backed up into James's chest, and Petunia looked over to Evelyn, Sirius and the rest of the group," And you brought your freak friends to something so-"

Evelyn didn't know why she did it but she touched Petunia's shoulder. Flashes of two little girls playing, holding hands, sitting with their parents, one had auburn hair while the other had blonde, " I know you're hurting, but so is she. Your parents loved you both so much, equally." Evelyn said softly.

Petunia's eyes were wide, and she backed away," Wha-what was that?" she whispered, hugging herself and getting closer to her frightened husband. Evelyn opened her mouth, but a shiver ran down her spine making her unsteady.

Sirius grabbed her, and she was panting as if all the wind had been knocked out of her. Petunia looked horrified," What did you do to me?!" she squeaked. Her husband grabbed her hand and they fled.

Evelyn felt her arms and legs begin to grow heavy and Sirius's grip became tighter and his voice became distant. She looked up to see the concerned looks of Lily and the rest.

She felt tears well up in her eyes," I'm so sorry." she breathed, taking large ragged breaths. She couldn't really hear, it sounded like a bunch of concerned mumbles. Evelyn felt herself slipping, but knew she had to stay awake.

She blinked rapidly, but she could feel her eyes falling shut until she finally slipped into unconsciousness.

-

Evelyn felt herself being laid down and her hair was pushed out of her face, she couldn't bring herself to open her eyes though.

-

Evelyn now felt herself being picked up and bounced around, she was too tired to care.

-

Something was wrong, she could feel it, she had to wake up. She had to tell Sirius and James before it was too late.

Evelyn willed herself to open her eyes but it was almost as if she were stuck, but miraculously she opened her eyes to see Sirius sitting in a chair beside her.

" S-Sirius," she croaked.

The ebony-haired man shot up and looked to her before gasping, " Ev! Are you okay?! Wait let me get someone-,"
