It was late March and Evelyn and Sirius found themselves spending the afternoon by down the lake. The Hufflepuff fell asleep on Sirius's lap, book in hand. The ebony-haired teen didn't disturb her, enjoying the peaceful quiet of her company, even if she was asleep.
It wasn't until the sun started to set did he attempt to wake her up, " Come on love, you need to wake up." he said nudging her with his knee
" Wha? Wha happenin'?" she slurred. Sirius smiled," You need to get up."
Evelyn whined," Carry me." she said wrapping her arms around him.
He sighed, but lifted her up with ease," Sirius I'm late." she yawned. Sirius shook his head," To what love?" She drunkenly laughed," You smell good." she hummed.
He laughed softly," You do too."
She yawned again," I forgot to plug in my phone, it won't update with me doing it, but version...I need to change my plan though, " she mumbled. Sirius raised an eyebrow, what the hell was she talking about?
" Of course love."
-
" Password- wait she's not a Gryffindor." Sirius rolled his eyes," Haec est Latina.". The fat lady rolled her eyes but opened anyway.
" You've been here long enough.." Evelyn mumbled. Sirius's face scrunched up into one of confusion," Ev are you really asleep?" he asked. His answer was a light snore.
" Hey Padfoot, and Evelyn." James said from the couch, Lily was sitting beside him and had an auburn eyebrow raised," Is she asleep?" she asked.
Sirius nodded," Yeah- well sorta, she's talking nonsense."
James grinned," Oh really?" He hopped over the couch and swaggered over to Evelyn.
" Hey Ev, what's your opinion of James?" he asked. Evelyn lifted her head slightly," He's a deer" she mumbled, burying her face into Sirius's neck. James raised an eyebrow and glanced toward Sirius," Er what about Sirius?" he asked.
" He ok." Sirius scoffed," What do you mean I'm 'Ok'?" Evelyn grumbled," Shhhhhhhh."
Sirius frowned," Well I'm going to put her in bed." James winked," Whatever you say mate." he quipped, making Sirius scowl.
James cackled, while Sirius carried her up to the boy's dorm. He managed to open the door, and then promptly threw Evelyn on his bed. She didn't seem to care, she snuggled into the bed and shivered," Come 'ere, I'm cold."
Sirius jumped in beside her and grabbed her from behind," You're okay too." he whispered.
-
' You've been here long enough, Evelyn, it's time to go,"
Evelyn looked up to see a woman standing in the doorway, she looked familiar.
' Hurry now, you don't have much time,'
-
Evelyn shot up and looked around, she was in Sirius's dorm.
" Love?" asked a groggy voice from beside her.
She placed a hand over he chest, " H-Hi," she panted. She felt the gross familiar sensation of cold sweat running down her back, " I think I had one of those-erm... dreams,"
Sirius sat up straight, " Okay, let's talk about it,"
Evelyn shook her head and looked at the clock, dinner would start soon, " No it's fine-,"
" No, Evelyn, it's not fine,"
She turned to look at Sirius who had a stern expression on his face, " If you don't want me to tell anyone about all of this and how you feel, then you're going to have to talk to me about them. I'm not going to let you sit in your own misery,"
