He stood in front of me raising his arms up. "Before we begin, I'll start with the 3 basics." He began walking around me.

"You need to know your competition. Watch for any weakness you can spot, if you find it, you can defeat them," he added scanning my body. Oh my gosh, I think he's looking for my weakness.

"Second, if you can't find their weakness, know your strengths. You need to know what you're capable of. Don't walk into a fight you know you're going to lose. Call for backup." he spoke again.

He threw a punch at me and I ducked before he could hit me. "You never said we were starting." I looked at him, and he turned serious.

I swung my foot around and he blocked my kick tossing my leg to the side. I caught my balance and he threw another punch, and I blocked it with my hand.

He looked at me and smirked. His hand moved to the bottom of his shirt and started raising it slowly. I saw tan skin and tattoos begin to appear. Before I could look away, I felt a leg sweep under my feet knocking me to the ground.

I landed on my back and Andrews got on top of me and held his arm to my throat. An idea popped in my head and I smirked. I raised my hand to the zipper on the shirt I was wearing and began unzipping it.

his eyes went wide and I kicked him off of me now having the upper hand. I stood up off of him as he laid on the ground defeated.

"Tactic number 3, distraction. If you ever feel you may lose the fight, or just want to gain the upper hand, distract your opponent." I zipped my shirt back up and looked at him.

I bent down to his level. "Did I forget to tell you I took certified training classes from an ex-special forces marine? Yeah, I learned all of this." I smirked holding my hand to help him up. He took it reluctantly and stood up with me.

"This isn't a game Parker. This shit is serious when you're out on an actual mission." he rolled his eyes and let out a breath unwrapping his hands.

"Yeah, you're right. So maybe they should give me some real competition." I smiled walking towards the training room door. I heard him mumble several cuss words as I walked away, it made me feel achieved.

I heard him walking behind me making me turn around. His face was flushed and he seemed to be mad. "Why are you even here if you're going to treat this like a joke?" He said in a deep voice. his voice was different when he was angry.

I was taken back from his question, why was I here? The only reason I'm here is because everyone I loved betrayed me and it was my only option.

"I have my reasons." I shrugged trying to mask why I was actually here. "How about you do us all a favor and just go. You don't belong here, you aren't one of us." I heard a female voice behind me making me turn around.

It was jess once again. "What is your deal with me?" I asked letting my hands fall to my sides out of frustration. "My deal is you aren't one of us. You prance in here, not even having to earn your way to the top, all because your daddy is the leader." She retorted sassily, making my blood boil.

"Since you know my dad, I guess you know how bad his temper is. How much he lacks the patience for peoples bullshit." I walked closer to her and she backed away as if I actually scared her.
