Theo
"How is she doing?" Larce entered the room with a sense of confident atmosphere surrounding him.
"She's doing better than she has been in a long time," I answered back. His presence was making me slightly uncomfortable.
"Have you coaxed her back here as we discussed?" he asked, I felt his eyes burning into me. I refused to make eye contact with him until absolutely necessary.
"Yes, they're all staying here," I replied. "Has she rejoined the gang?" he asked while pouring himself a drink.
"She never really left. She still goes out on missions, she even saved our ass when we got into a confrontation with Will." I told him. We weren't thinking clearly going in there without her, but neither was she.
"It's in her blood, she can't leave." He smiled, almost a sense of pride upon his lips. "She's a true warrior, you know that right?" Larce spoke, finally making eye contact with me.
"You know she's only 17, right? I don't think we should associate that term with her." I disagreed and I saw larce stiffen.
"Is her mom still in the same place, safe?" I asked, changing the subject. If Alex finds out that I've been keeping her moms location from her, and about larce making me get her to move back in, she would never forgive me.
We heard the door open, and our eyes both shifted in the direction of the sound. "Theo, you will never guess what I just had to go through to get a laptop. Seems like the universe trying to stop me from doing homew-" she stopped talking as soon as she entered the room and saw larce.
Alex
"All this time I thought Lucifer had to be conjured in order to be present." I crossed my arms over my chest seeing my father stand before me.
I heard Ethan and Grayson walking in the door, and I felt things weren't going to go well.
"The prodigal boyfriends return." Larce smiled at Ethan and Grayson who appeared beside me. "You've got a lot of nerve." Ethan began, and I saw larce's posture change.
"How about you walk a little closer and I show you just how much nerve I have." larce set down his drink and Grayson stepped closer. "Come on old man." he scoffed and I grabbed his arm.
"Can we tone down the testosterone and let him come here and get the trash from downstairs." I let out an annoyed breath and Grayson took his arm from my hand quickly and headed for the stairs.
"He's got spunk." larce laughed picking his drink back up. "Just get will and go." I rolled my eyes turning to walk away.
"Alexandra, can we talk?" larce stopped me and I turned hesitantly. I remembered what Gideon had just told me, and I thought about my next move.
"Actually, yeah." I responded. Ethan bumped me with his arm and I shot him a glare. I yanked his body closer to me and said, "Go upstairs and chill your brother out before he turns green and grows 3 times his size."
He looked at me with a stubborn look and after a few seconds backed away from me. He glared at larce before he headed for the stairs.
