chapter | fifteen

grayson's pov

"see dude, isn't it so much easier just to let go?" I heard a voice beside me and I laid my head back, feeling the different highs hitting my system.      

"yeah e, it actually is." I responded slightly smiling. "we're going to throw the biggest back to school party ever Grayson." I heard Ethan half yell in excitement. "hell yeah we are." I responded just as excited. 

Ethans right, going back to how things were before Alex really is so much better. "cheers to being back to normal." Ethan held up his cup. "cheers man." I responded laughing and we hit our cups together. 

Alex's pov

I stared out of the window at the familiar scenery that was passing by. we left the airport about 20 minutes ago. im back home. we're on the way to the new headquarters place that larce acquired. 

I couldn't help but feel the urge to go home, like to my actual house. to see Ryan, to see Elena. they're both together again and as happy as ever. I truly am happy for them. they had the strength to overcome issues and fight for their love. I envy that. 

"earth to Alex." I snapped into reality to see a hand in front of my face. it was Theo's of course. "we're here." he opened his car door and stepped out. 

I grabbed my bags and walked behind him towards this massive house. I've watched reality shows where the stars have massive mansions, im telling you this has to be one of the biggest houses I've ever seen. 

"you like what you see?" larce asked appearing beside me. "how- it's so-" I tried getting the words out. "that answers my question. I already have your room picked out." he smiled and I smiled back. 

we walked in, and Theo was beside me. there was a massive chandelier hanging right as you walked in. along with a huge marble staircase to the right. I was astonished. "follow me." larce spoke up. 

Theo and I followed him upstairs. "this may look like an average mansion, but it has many customizations made to it, just for the mortels. but I did request a few for some of my best members." he smirked at me and Theo, we looked back at him confused. 

we reached the top of the staircase, which felt like it took years. he led us all the way down to the end of the lengthy hallway and stopped. there were two doors, and larce turned to Theo. "this one is your room." he handed Theo a set of keys. Theo's room read 2B in golden letters. he took the keys form larce with no emotion. 

larce handed me a set of keys and pointed to the left door, right beside theo's. "Yours Alexandra." he smiled. "I have to go downstairs and get to work. you guys check out your rooms and let me know what you think." he turned on his heel and walked away. 

I looked at Theo in awe and he looked down at the keys. I unlocked my door and walked in, it was beautiful. it almost looked like my room back home, but way bigger and more luxurious. 

I walked around studying every detail. I went over to the bed, it had to be a California king. I jumped on it and felt the covers. I stood up once more and saw a big door at the far end of my room. I stood up and walked towards it curiously. I opened it and my eyes went wide. 

it was a humongous closet with so many beautiful clothes. they were all mostly black, but that's my new style now so it's perfect. there was a wall just full of leather mortel jackets. 

I walked to the end and saw an empty wall, making me furrow my brows a little. I saw a silver square at the bottom of the wall that had writing. enter fingerprint here - > it pointed to a square off to the side. 

I tilted my head. but placed my thumb there. I stepped back when I heard a loud noise. the regular part of the wall began to move, it revealed a large wall full of weapons. it had knives, swords, guns. but what caught my eye were the bows and arrows. they were beautiful. I looked at the arrows, they already had my markings on them. 

I glanced down at the tattoo that was customized for me also. it was the same as my jacket, the crescent moon going through the mortel skull symbol, also with the arrow going through as well. 

I walked out of the closet, still astounded. I decided I wanted to get a shower, I can't even imagine what the bathroom must look like in here. 

I grabbed new clothes and walked into the bathroom that was covered in marble. it had a stand-in shower that was half the size of my old bedroom, it was insane.

I stepped out of the shower and went to get dressed, but realized I had forgotten my bra and underwear. of course Alex.

I wrapped a towel around myself and walked out of my bathroom. I was startled when I saw Theo sitting on my bed. 

"um can I help you?" I asked stepping back behind the bathroom door. "suit up, we have a small mission before dinner." he stood up walking closer to me. 

"can I help you, Alex?" he asked in a seductive tone and I tried to keep my cool. "actually yes," I responded and he smirked. when I was in the closet I saw a whole set of new bras and underwear. 

"go in the closet and get me a bra and a pair of underwear." I spoke back and he turned around reluctant at first. 

he took a few moments before returning to the bathroom door. he handed me a matching set of black lace. 

"I picked my favorite color." he shrugged when I looked at him oddly. "ill be out in a few Theo." I laughed closing the door in his face.

I walked out with tight black pants and a t-shirt. I walked past Theo to the weapons wall in my closet and grabbed a few things.

I strapped a knife around my thigh and got my bow and arrows ready. when I looked up his eyes were locked on me. "are you ready to kick some ass or what?" I laughed and he nodded smiling.
