Alex
Theo and I finished our fighting, he won this time. "Told you I would win." he laughed, sitting beside me drinking some water.
"I let you win." I retorted, flicking some water on him. "I have a question," he spoke up, after wiping the water off of his face.
"Shoot." I nodded drinking more water. "Why didn't you cry for help that day.. Or yell for someone to come help you?" he asked looking over at me.
I thought back to that day, the only time I yelled was when he put pressure on the cut he gave me. I'm not really sure why I didn't.
"I guess I just knew there was no one around." I shrugged thinking about it. "But you didn't even seem the least bit scared when he was about to slit your throat. You literally closed your eyes... waiting for it." He studied my expression.
"I- I don't know." I raised my voice and stood up. "It's a simple question Alex, just answer it." he responded just as loud.
"Maybe I just don't have much keeping me here, okay?" I yelled turning towards him. He was standing directly in front of me. I didn't mean to even say that. But it's true, I've lost everything.
His eyes went softer, and he looked kind of guilty for asking. "Does that answer satisfy you?" I asked coming closer to him. Our chests were almost touching. I could decipher the different colors in his eyes right now. For once, I could see warmth in them.
"Alex I'm-" he started. "Alexandra." I heard Jordyn's voice entering the room and me and Theo moved away from each other.
"Hey, Jordyn." I fake smiled, and hugged him. "I know this is a sensitive subject, but Grayson wants you to call him." He trailed off. "Wait, since when do you talk to Grayson?" I asked studying his face. Grayson hates Jordyn. We all know this.
"I didn't directly. He told Elena, who told Ryan, who told me." he explained. "Well, I lost my phone the day I got attacked and it just hasn't crossed my mind to get another one. Plus I can't really leave the house." I responded.
"I can take you to get a new one." I heard Theo say from behind me. I looked at him sideways and Jordyn sent him a glare.
"Is there drama here that I'm not aware of?" I asked pointing between the two of them. They looked at each other and back to me. "Ancient history." Theo responded. "If we're going then let's go." He added and walked past me. He pushed past Jordyn on his way out and I saw Jordyn struggling to restrain himself.
"Well, I'm going to go get some clothes on so I can go get a new phone." I smiled walking past him. "And Alex." he began and I turned around. "Be careful." he added and I nodded.
I walked downstairs. I put on a pair of black denim shorts and a white crop top, my favorite outfit. It was also Ethan's. I put on a little bit of makeup as well. I haven't worn it since I left.
Theo was waiting by the door. "Okay, let's go." I spoke up and he looked me up and down. He cleared his throat and nodded.
We walked out of the phone store and walked towards the car. "Does Larce know we left?" I asked glancing at Theo that had his usual resting bitch face on.
"If he didn't know we wouldn't be here." he responded walking beside me looking around. "Why are you so serious all the time?" I blurted. I didn't really mean to.
