So... actually, after revising this chapter and re-re-re-rewriting again it is now up to 5300 words...😬
A knock on the door woke me up from my peaceful sleep making me stir in my spot and bury my head further into the warmth beneath me.
Wait a second.
I peel my eyes open only to be met with Xavier's steadily rising and deflating chest. My eyes move up to see Xavier's peaceful looking face. His lashes thick and dark on his cheeks, small hints of a smile with his dimples forming. His arms were wound around me while I practically laid on top of him and our legs were tangled together.
He looks so different when he's asleep; no small frown line between his brows that's normally there most of the time.
Another knock sounded on the door causing Xavier to stir but before he could move anymore, I quickly slid out of his arms and climbed out of the bed to the door.
"Yeah?" I open the door to Ty.
"I don't have clothes for school." He frowns and looks at what I'm wearing.
I walk out closing the door behind me before he could see Xavier, but I know he's smart; he probably already figured it out or at least conjured up something in his head.
"I know Ty, I didn't get time to pack anything," I sigh. "I promise I'll get you some clothes today, alright?" I kneel down to his height sympathetically.
I know what it's like to wear the same clothes from the day before and all you want is a shower and a fresh pair of clothes. It'll be harder for Ty with his fashion OCD. I've seen him freak out enough times to know this is really killing him.
Ty didn't look impressed but nodded with tight lips before walking into the bathroom. I sigh and walk back into Xavier's room checking his phone for the time.
I now wish I hadn't. A text had popped up on his lock screen; Alex. Only a preview of the message was displayed but it was enough to figure what she was doing.
Alex: Hey baby. Where u been? I miss u x
Gag.
I go back to the time seeing it flash 8:04 am. Crap, they're gonna be late.
