The blaring of my phone reverberates through my bedroom, causing a groan to erupt from my slightly parted mouth. My head buried in the comfort of my pillow.

Beep! Beep!

I could feel the heat of the sun's rays shining through the sliver of space between the two curtain drapes I had left open. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach just outside my window was something I could definitely get used to. Twisting my head to the side, I clench my eyes shut from the sudden light exposure that it takes a minute for my eyes to adjust to. Sitting up from my bed and reaching over to the nightstand to turn the alarm on my phone off. I glance over to Ace's sleeping figure and the soft snores that are escaping from his opened mouth. I can't help but laugh softly at the sound of it.

Pulling back the comforter and lazily stumbling past my bed to my adjoined ensuite, I draw back the glass door of the shower and turn the hot water on to allow for the room to steam up.

Turning around to the wall length mirror reflecting my drained figure in all of its clarity, I run my hand through my hair. It's greasy, dull and knotted look and feel was accentuating the dark purple bags under my equally dull and simple, brown eyes.

I don't know how I saw Xavier with the most interesting eyes even though they were brown when I found my own plain and simple. Though, his were a more golden shade than mine were.

Releasing a tired sigh, I strip from my clothes from yesterday throwing them into the hamper and stepping into the large fogged cubicle. The direct spray pours down on my dry, tanned skin, washing away the built-up dirt and grime collected throughout yesterday. There's a way the warm water cascades down my body that provides warmth and almost comfort... that has a content sigh leaving my parted lips.

After scrubbing my body and washing the grease from my hair, I step out of the shower wrapping the fluffy white towel around my body and another around my hair. I quickly blow dry my hair out to get most of the water out of it and then leaving it in its natural state of small tight spiral curls.

I dry off the rest of my body as I walk out of the steamy bathroom and into my new walk in robe to pull out my grey Adidas hoodie and skinny black jeans with rips at the knees. Paring my everyday outfit with my usual white Nike Air Forces, I grab my sling bag that hangs on the back of my dresser chair after spraying myself with deodorant and my strawberry perfume.

I suppose Tyler felt like organizing my wardrobe according to the way it's been arranged in not only color, but style and material.

I make my way downstairs to be greeted by the oh so lovely sight of... an empty house. Yup, a great way to start my day at another new school, in a new state, with a bunch of new people. Noticing a sticky note lying on the island bench in the kitchen, I make my way over to it reading the words scrawled on the paper.

'Dropped Tyler at school already, your father has gone to Chicago on business. Have a good day at school! – Love Mom'

Definitely not happening.
