Magwayen’s Point of View

“I know all of you are smart.

I therefore condemn Mr. Azai Arcibal as the murderer to this crime. Siya lang ang maaaring makagawa nito because obviously he was the last person to enter this room before the victim committed suicide. He might have threatened miss Leanne and made her jump out of the veranda.”

“I highly disagree!

“Wow! First name basis? Boyfriend mo ba si Mr. Arcibal?” taas kilay niyang sumbat

    Oh I wish!

“You can’t trust his words. The CCTVS on the elevators and hallways doesn’t work at the meantime, the only working CCTV was the camera in the lobby. So he could have speed up and did his magic words to persuade the victim.”

“What proof do you have?” usal naman ng senior detective inspector.

“The text message. It was jeje and informal compared to the first one. I already asked your team sir to run a fingerprint test on the phone and they did find Mr. Arcibal’s mark in that phone. Meaning he could have threatened Leanne to call his ex Savier and make it look like a suicide then he used her phone to text himself. He then kept threatening Leanne and pushed her out of the veranda that’s why she dropped horizontally on the ground and not vertically because it was a murder, it was not her will to jump.”

Pumalakpak ang senior detective inspector, “You’re good,” usal niya at kumurba ang malaking ngiti sa babae, “Good in making stories. Maybe you should apply in the editorial department as a feature writer and not in the academic realm as a detective, don’t you think?”

“Sir, please reconsider. The fact that Mr. Arcibal’s fingerprint was found on the phone was already a big proof that he’s the killer. He didn’t have any reason to have his fingerprint there unless he was the culprit.”
