They were never a fan of teleportation. Ochobot's powers was a stretch. They only used the ability in utmost emergencies—which Gopal seemed to deem candy bars as his lifeline and wore the poor thing out. Even so, he only did it for the sugar. If it could be avoided, Ochobot's ability would the last resort.

Of course, villains didn't take the hint, or they just don't care. Fang had one to many times of being teleported at random and falling flat on his face afterwards. But this? This was a stretch. Nut's machines backfired and here they were, in the city, where Boboiboy claimed to be Kuala Lumpur, and they were in a park.

The brunet frowned at the array of shops, questioning his vision's functionality. That boba tea shop was supposed to be closed years ago, yet there was a long queue originating from the counter. Why was it popular? Did it rejuvenate anytime soon?

"Ochobot, can you teleport us back?" Yaya asked the power sphere, brushing dust off her skirt.

The yellow sphere's eyes scrunched up in concentration, his metal fists clenched in valiant effort. After seconds, he sighed and shook his body in disappointment.

"Something's stopping me." Ochobot looked around. "Maybe Nut's machines are disrupting my power."

Fang's brows pressed together in distaste. "Guess we're walking back." He cursed under his breath as he turned to the former city child. "Well, what are you waiting for? Where's the train station?"

Boboiboy nodded, his hair dangling with his movements. "It's that wa—"

"Where's Gopal?" Ying interjected, eyes darting around the area. The Indian boy was nowhere to be seen. As the group was ready to panic, their eyes fell on the fast food restaurants down the street, and indeed, their comrade was already buying out every category there was.

Fang rolled his eyes and groaned. Of course. What did they expect?

"We're here anyway," Ying muttered. "Should we look around?"

They decided to tour the city, since they don't come out much. It was refreshing to see modern civilization without any aliens. They knew how to operate an alien video game console better than a vending machine. The streets were crowded with people, the pavement smoothed out from the paths people took. Shops were more colourful than anything they've ever seen, some straight up looking like unicorn hurl, that Fang gagged at.

Ochobot was disguised as a football, which Boboiboy carried in his arms.

Despite the crowded area, everyone was silent, or talking amongst each other in hushed volumes. It was like they were living in a movie of black and white, and they were the only ones in colour. Everyone around them was taller, and they were mushrooms in a forest.

Boboiboy seemed to be the only one that felt at ease, for he was raised in the city. The others spent their lives in a village where everyone they met on the street was someone they already knew. Even Gopal chewed his burger self-consciously.

Boboiboy didn't like how his friends were feeling. He worried that they may not be accustomed to the speedy culture in the city. He decided that he would have to bring them somewhere quieter and peaceful before Gopal turns something to calamari.

"I know somewhere that we can relax." Boboiboy turned to his friends. "It's somewhere down the blo—"

The glass beside him suddenly glowed a vibrant red, the panes melting into liquid. Heat spread through the air, and Boboiboy ducked before he got hit in the head with a table. The furniture skittered across the road, which caused a car to swerve and crash into another vehicle, that created a chain of accidents that led to a lamppost falling on a tree and the tree falling right in front of a cat. The cat shrieked and bolted.
