A raven-head woman ran to the reception. Her charcoal hair all over the place, her eyes blood red from crying. The lines on her forehead which emphasized her age were more evident because of how worried she was. Her sullen cheeks were stained with dry tears, her skin too pale not the usual tan.

Beside her was a younger version of herself, her daughter and her husband who tried to act strong for the two.

"Kim Namjoon," She panted, "where is he?"

The receptionist who was previously on the phone hung up and asked the lady to repeat the name.

"Kim Namjoon! My son!"

The receptionist's eyes widen when the woman raised her volume at her, she should be used to it by now seeing as it happened every other day.

Mr. Kim puts his hands on his wife's shoulder, trying to comfort her. He gave a forced smile.

"I'm sorry but could you t-"

He was cut off by Sejin who had been waiting for Namjoon's parents to come as he had to escort them to their son's room.

He lightly tapped on the male's shoulder.

"Mr. Kim?"

The said male turned and looked at Sejin, immediately recognizing him as the manager as they had often met as Mr. Kim wanted to be updated on his son.

"S-Sejin, where's Namjoon?" He questioned.

Sejin in response motioned the three to follow. They stride until they reached their destination.

Sejin told them to wait and stepped inside to call the members out as they were already exceeding the limit of maximum people in the room.

Taking last glimpse of the peacefully sleeping Namjoon, they walked out reluctantly, not wanting to leave the leader's side for even a moment. But they knew they had to.

Namjoon's family rushed inside as soon as the members came out, not sparing a glance at them, wanting to see their son as soon as possible.

Mrs. Kim gasped at her son's sight. He was thin, too thin. He was connected to so many machines. His skin was pale, not his natural tan that she loved.

She felt like she was dying, this was painful. She could not comprehend, she did not understand. Had she been a bad mother? How did she not notice him struggling when he would come to visit, why did she ignore it all thinking that it was stress?

Mr. Kim came behind his sobbing wife, hugging her causing the woman to turn back and cry in his shoulder, she could not bear the sight anymore.

The male had a blank expression on his face, not giving away any emotions. He could not show his vulnerability at the moment for the sake of his wife and daughter.

Geong Min edged towards her brother.

"O-oppa?" She brokenly called out. Her mono-lid eyes were blood red, her flushed cheeks stained.

She took her brother's frail hand delicately as if she put a little more pressure it were to break. She had never seen her brother like this before if she had a choice she never wanted to see him in sick condition ever. To her, her brother was strong, an inspiring brother who protected her at all times when they were younger, when he was not busy being an idol, when he was just her brother nothing else.

She missed her brother, she missed the times when despite being older Namjoon would playfully hide her stuff and annoyed her like all typical brothers did. She missed the times when she would scold Namjoon for breaking her things and him apologizing for umpteenth times, saying it would not happen again, yet, they would find themselves in the same position the very next week.
