As I looked out the window of my room I herd a loud knock "great" I mutter under my breath. I slipped on a 5SOS T-Shirt and opened the door to find Dani my social worker at the door.
"Oh hey Dani" I said slightly self conscious of my Australian accent.
"Hey Ivy. I got news for ya girl"
"Go on" I said eager to see what she'll say.
" You are ... GETTING ADOPTED!!"
I sat back on my bed and tried to comprehend what Dani just said.
Tears filled my eyes as I tried to speak to Dani.
"When a-am I getting a-adopted?"
"In a few hours! Go pack up they will be here in about 4 hours ok. You have till 12 ."
She shut the door and I started packing.
TW TW TW TW TW TW
I started packing my clothes and shoes which took like 5 minutes as I had 5 shirts, 2 tops, 3 pairs of skinny jeans and 2 pairs of shoes.
I looked at my bathroom door and ran to get the most important thing. My blades. No one could know especially not my new parents so I put them on the hidden compartment of my backpack. I threw my makeup and hair things in the small inside compartment of my suitcase.
"Hurry up Ivy" Mrs Colvin shouted
"Almost done!" I shouted slightly panicked as I had my hair dye to pack.
"Your new parents are here" Mrs Colvin shouted angrily.
"Give me 2 minutes." I said as I tried to shove my hair dye equipment in a separate bag.
I sprinted downstairs almost tripping as I saw who I was adopted by.
"HOLY FUCK 5 SECONDS OF FUCKIN SUMMER"
