//Julia's POV//

Phone conversation

Julia: Hey mom just wanted to call and let you and dad know that I have landed safely at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Nina: Oh that's wonderful sweetheart, so glad that you are there safely.  I can't wait to hear all about this new job of yours, and your father and I can't wait to come and visit you when you when you get all settled in.

Julia: Of course you and dad will be the first to know how my first day on the job is. I will let y'all know when I get settled in to this new city of Charlotte, so I can show y'all around my new home. Sarah just got here to the airport to come pick me up, but I'll call y'all later on before I go to bed. Bye I love y'all!

Nina: We love you too and are so proud of the woman that you have grown up to be. Sounds good, but don't be in a rush to immediately call us when you are busy. Bye!

***** End of phone conversation****

I'm so excited that you are now going to be living in the same city as me again! My best friend Sarah said to me on our ride leaving the airport. Sarah and I have been best friends since the 10th grade when she had just recently moved to Atlanta from being in New York all of her life. As she's driving we laugh about all of the memories that we have shared together over the years, she soon asks me "So are you going to tell me your best friend about this amazing new job that you have?" Haha well of course I am, I say back to her. I begin telling her that I am going to be a new reporter and journalist for Charlotte Motor Speedway. They are going to pay for the first month of rent in the fully-furnished apartment that I will be living in until I get paid and can afford my rent and other bills on my own. "This must be some fancy and super important job for them to give you housing and the benefits of it being fully-furnished and the first month already paid." I explain to her that from what I have been told is that this is a very important job to the racetrack because I will be doing live reporting and interviews on race day. Oh by the way since you are going to be local I will have to get you and Christian tickets to the race when it comes to the Speedway I told Sarah. Sarah says " That would be so much fun, but you don't have to go to the trouble of getting us tickets Christian could always get some for us. He can also make sure that whenever you want to come to a Panthers game you just let me know and we will go to a game. Since I am married to the running back of the Panthers mr. Christian McCaffrey himself." I still can't believe that my best friend is married to the star running back, maybe I'll meet the love of my life while I'm here I say to Sarah. We finally pull up to the apartment complex and I begin to think to myself "welcome to your new home" it's time to start this new chapter in my life and see what is in store for me in this new city and amazing new job that I have.

I didn't start my job at the Speedway until Monday so I have the rest of the day today and tomorrow to get unpacked. Sarah and I sat in my living room and talked some more about everything that we had not got caught up on before she had to leave and go back home to her house which was only 15 minuets from my apartment. Before she left she asked me "Is there anybody in this NASCAR organization that I had a crush on?" My response back to my friend was that "I thought that Chase Elliott one of the drivers who was also from Georgia was so cute, and hopefully I'll run into  him at the track someday.
