*** Phone Conversation***
Julia: Hey Mom and Dad! I just got back home from my first day at the Speedway!
Nina: Hey, we miss you already. Wow this early in the afternoon?
Julia: Yeah it is pretty early, but I have already got assigned such a cool report to do. I am going in the morning to a radio station just outside of Charlotte in a small town called Moorseville. While I'm there I am going to be writing a report and getting to be a special guest on this podcast for NASCAR.
Nina: Oh my goodness that is wonderful! Your father and I will definitely be watching this podcast when it releases. We hope that you have a fun time, but promise to please be careful and to text me when you get to this radio station in the morning.
Julia: I know right I am so excited and can't wait for y'all to get to see it. Y'all know that I will be careful and to text you as soon as I get parked tomorrow at the station. I'll let y'all know when I am on my way back tomorrow and tell y'all how my first interview and report goes. I guess I'll let y'all go, but I'll talk to y'all later. Bye I love y'all!
Nina: Bye we love you too and okay we will talk to you later on before you get ready for bed.
*** End of Conversation***
{The next morning}
I woke up around 7:30 and began to get ready for the day. I had plenty of time to get ready and leave with plenty of time to spare because the ride to Moorseville was only 35 minutes using I-77. I have watched Glass Case of Emotion plenty of times before but I still wanted to dress up nice and look very professional. I ended up wearing a nice pair of slacks with a blouse paired with my sensible heels. I didn't have to be at MRN until 10 am, so I didn't need to rush. I ended up leaving around 9:00 just in case I got into some heavy traffic.
I pulled into the parking lot of the radio station around 9:35 I was lucky enough to not have any traffic and made it on time with time to spare. I quickly texted my mom and let her know I had made it to the radio station and that I would call her when I leave. I walked into the building and was immediately greeted by a receptionist who lead me down the hallway to where Glass Case of Emotion was going to be filmed. I got everything out that I needed for the podcast and set it on the desk that was in front of me. I was told that I would get to sit in between Kim Coon and Ryan Blaney.
I was sitting there for a few minutes at the desk mentally preparing myself before I heard some people come into the room that I was in and begin talking to me. I looked up to see all 3 of the hosts Chuck Bush, Kim Coon, and Ryan Blaney. They were so nice and told me to just be myself and have some fun. They also told me that apparently Ryan had a friend that was going to call in on the show that we were going to talk to and interview for a period of time. I got up from the desk and formally introduced myself to them by shaking their hands which then turned into hugs.
Introduction of myself to Chuck, Kim, and Blaney
Julia: Hey y'all my name is Julia Winters and I am from Marietta, Georgia. I am a reporter/journalist for Charlotte Motor Speedway and I also do some photography also. I graduated from the University of Georgia located in Athens, Ga with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Mass Communications. {GO DAWGS} I have grown up watching all different sports and being an athlete all throughout middle and high school. I also love going to concerts and in my free time I love to read and also be with my family!

//Blaney's POV///
Chuck begins by welcoming everyone to another episode of Glass Case of Emotion and he then let's us go through 1 by 1 saying good morning and what not before we give the introduction to our new friend Julia. We all say our good mornings and then get right into talking to Julia, hearing her talk makes me think of my good ole friend Clyde who is also from Georgia. Little does anybody know that I'll be calling him during the show and maybe Bubba if we have time. Julia is doing very well and I'm glad that she had seen the show before so she could be prepared on how everything was supposed to go. We talked about how coming up in a few short weeks that racing would be back in Charlotte for 2 weeks because of the All Star race and the Coca-Cola 600 and that Julia would be doing a lot of interviews with many different drivers in that span of 2 weeks. I thought to myself how pretty she was, but I think that she and Clyde would be perfect together. Speaking of Clyde let's call him...
Blaney: Well Good Morning Clyde how are you this morning and welcome to Glass Case of Emotion.
Chase: Thanks for the wake up call Blaney. Good morning to y'all also. I hear we have a guest in studio this morning that is also from my home state of Georgia?
Blaney: No problem buddy, you did hear that right our friend here Ms. Julia Winters is from your home state. She is a reporter/journalist that works for Charlotte Motor Speedway, so we will be seeing her a lot when we get there in a few weeks.
Chase: I have one question I'd like to ask Ms. Julia and that is "Are you a Dawgs fan or a Jackets fan?"
Julia: It is so nice to get to talk to you Chase and I am for sure a Dawgs fan. Can I get a GO DAWGS?
Chase: GO DAWGS. She definitely sounds like someone that I would like since she's from Georgia, and she cheers for the dawgs. I definitely look forward to being in Charlotte in a few weeks then. Nice talking to you Julia.
Blaney: Well thanks for answering our calls every once in a while Clyde. Maybe when you are actually here in Moorseville and not being lazy in Georgia you can come stop by MRN and be an in house special guest like Julia is. Byeee Clyde.
Chase: Anytime Blaney. Just remember that you never invite me to anything anyways, thanks for waking me up. I'll talk to y'all soon, bye everyone.
***** End of Blaney's phone conversation with Chase*****
//Blaney's POV still//
After the phone call from Chase I felt my phone vibrate and I look down to see a text from Chase saying that he wanted Julia's phone number. I sent back real quick that I would try and get it from her or just wait until we see her at the track in a few weeks. I mean we will be there for 2 weeks and can really get to know her better and have her come over and hang out with us at the motorhomes when she isn't busy. We then continued our conversations talking about random topics like new movies coming out, race predictions, and conspiracy theories. It was then time for the end of the show where we all say our goodbyes and sign off.
