I walked into the hotel and straight to the concierge desk where I could get checked in for the night. I approached the desk and was greeted by a woman named Shelby, I told her the information that she needed and she began to get me the room key. Like Paul, she also said that the room and other expenses were already paid for and that if I needed anything don't be afraid to ask or call to the front desk. She then gave me the room key and said that I would be on the third floor in room 309, I also had a super cool view of downtown Dawsonville. I got the room key and began making my way to the elevators and up to my room. I made it to my room and went ahead and sent texts to my parents and to Sarah to let them know that I had made it safely and am already in my hotel room.

I unpacked my suitcase and got my outfit for tomorrow on a hanger so it won't wrinkle. I decided that I would call Mikayla and see what she thought about which shoes would look the best. Sarah and I couldn't decide so that's why I packed both as a just in case. After I finished unpacking my suitcase I went to pick up my phone so I could call Mikayla and I saw that I had a text from Chase. He had sent me a text just asking how my day was going so far and that he might call me later on. I sent back a text to Chase saying that I was having a great day so far and that I was fine with him calling me later on. I then hit Mikayla's contact and called her.

***Phone Conversation with Mikayla***

Mikayla: Hey girl what's going on?

Julia: Hey girly nothing much I was just finished unpacking my suitcase.

Mikayla: Ooh where are you at?

Julia: I'm actually back in Georgia in this small town called Dawsonville. NASCAR sent me here to interview that friend of Ryan's that I have a huge crush on. It's Chase the one that I've been texting with already.

Mikayla: How fun, sounds like they are already sending you on mini trips. I bet you are jumping up and down with excitement about getting to interview that boy you think is so cute. What are you wearing to this interview?

Julia: You know it. I kept it together when my boss was telling me about the interview and who I would be interviewing but on the inside I was freaking out. I am going to wear this black shirt with my black and white tweed blazer and skirt. I was actually going to ask you what shoes you think I should wear with it though.

Mikayla: Haha I'm sure you did even after all of these years you are still boy crazy. That sounds super cute, send me a picture of it while I'm on the phone with you and I'll help you decide.

Julia: Okay I'll send you the picture now. I packed a pair of black flats and a pair of black heels but the heel is thick and sensible. Have you and Ryan been talking?

Mikayla: That outfit is super cute, that's going to look super good on you! I would wear the heels because I'm sure y'all will get a picture together and you need to look a little bit taller lol

Mikayla: That outfit is super cute, that's going to look super good on you! I would wear the heels because I'm sure y'all will get a picture together and you need to look a little bit taller lol. I know he will probably still make you look tiny anyways. Ryan texted me the other day just introducing himself and we started to text a little bit but not much.

Julia:Thank you so much, it is one of my favorite outfits that I have in my closet. I knew you would pick the heels for me to wear. Of course I wanna feel tiny next to him, and knock on wood that we do get a picture together. He sent me a text the other night asking if I was busy because he wanted to call me on the phone.

Mikayla: You gotta wear some heels every once in a while to let people know that you are the head bitch in charge. That's so sweet that he was considerate and asked you first before calling you. How long did y'all talk for and does he know you are the one interviewing him in the morning?

Julia: That is so true even though I'm not really the head bitch in charge. I know right it really is super sweet that he is so respectful of me and my schedule before just bombarding me with texts or calls like some people have done. We ended up talking to each other for over an hour the other night, and no he has no idea that I am the one interviewing him. NASCAR hasn't told him either so this will be a complete surprise tomorrow.

Mikayla: That is even more exciting that he will get to see you and be surprised when you walk through those doors. I hate to cut our conversation short but I have to go to a meeting with a magazine editor. Good luck and tell me how it goes tomorrow! Bye!!

Julia: I definitely will let you know how it goes. Thank you so much for your fashion advice. Bye!!

***End of Phone Conversation with Mikayla***

I ended the phone call with Mikayla and decided to call the room service and get something to ear before it got any later. I ended up ordering a bowl of their lobster macaroni and cheese with a half grilled cheese sandwich on the side. It got to the room 15 minutes after I ordered it and I sat down and enjoyed it while watching a replay of an older Georgia Bulldogs football game. Maybe if I'm not too busy during football season I would love to go to a game again whether it's on the road or in Athens. Chase texted me and we texted for a few minutes but he said he couldn't call me tonight because he had a really important interview in the morning. He said the only thing that he knew about the interview was that it was at the Pool Room, he was gonna talk about his family ties to it, and NASCAR was the one interviewing him. I thought to myself whew thank goodness that is all of the information that he knows. I told Chase that it was okay and that I completely understand because I had to wake up early for work tomorrow anyways. We then talked a little more before saying our goodnights to each other and ending the conversation for the evening.
