//Kate's POV//

I got to the office early this morning to tidy up before everyone arrived for the day. I had just got off the phone with Kim, Chuck, and Ryan they were going to be here at the Speedway around 11:00. The plan is to have Julia begin working on typing up her report that she sent to me in a newspaper article so we can publish it to the Motorsports Weekly, I'll then call her into my office and tell her to run an errand for me which will lead to us meeting Kim, Chuck, and Ryan in the boardroom for the surprise. Julia would be arriving around 8 this morning, I looked back at the time to see that it was only 7 so I had a full hour to prepare and get everything set up. I think that it is so sweet that they are going to surprise her and ask her to become a permanent fill-in for the podcast by making her a huge gift basket filled with different items and racing merchandise.

//Julia's POV//

I woke up to my alarm at around 6:30 this morning. I had time to make some coffee and could also sit down and enjoy it. I thought about sending Chase a quick text just saying have a safe flight, but I didn't know if I was going to do it or not. I walked back to my bedroom to start getting dressed for the day, I had a feeling that today was going to be a really good day so I decided to curl my natural curly hair and put on more makeup that I normally would never wear. I decided to wear a quarter length white button down shirt with a pair of tighter jeans and my Gucci espadrilles. Since I still had a little bit of time before I had to leave and head to the track I deicided to go ahead and text Chase, I figured it wouldn't hurt to text him right?

***Text Conversation with Chase***

Julia: Hey Chase! Good Morning, just wanted to send you a quick text before I head to work. I hope that you have a safe flight and to please be careful.

Chase: Hey Julia! Good Morning to you also. Thank you so much for the text that means a lot to me. I will be careful,If you would like I can send you a text when I land safely back in Georgia. I hope that have a great day at work.

Julia: It's no problem at all. Yes you are more than welcome to text me when you land safely back to our lovely home state of Georgia. Thank you! I'm actually heading to my car now so I can leave and get to work before the traffic starts getting backed up already.

Chase: Okay cool I'll text you when I land then since I am flying  myself back,but my dad is coming to pick me up from the airport. You are so welcome. I'll talk to you later then so you can concentrate on the road and not be late. Be careful. Bye Julia!

Julia: Sounds great. Haha thanks, I'll talk to you later then. I will, Bye Chase!

*** End of Text Conversation with Chase***

I arrived at the Speedway around 7:45 like I did on my first day. I flashed my I.D so I could get into the building where all of the business offices are, I always stop by Kate's office first and ask what she would like for me to do first or if she has any special jobs she needs me to do. When I got to her office I knocked first before entering to make sure that I wasn't interrupting anything, she waved for me to step into her office. She had an over the moon joyful look on her face which made me excited to see. She began to explain how she had received my report and had already read it and would like for me to put it into a newspaper format so we could put it in the Motorsports Weekly to be published. I was so thrilled to hear that and can't wait for everyone to read it. I then told Kate that I was going to go ahead and get started on it then, she said she loved the stories that I had shared in it and that the pictures I had given the report a personal touch to it.

I sat down at my desk and began to start typing up this report. The pictures I included in the report were pictures of MRN, the studio where we filmed everything, a group picture of Kim, Chuck, Ryan, and I all standing together, and one of us all sitting around the table. I shared in the report that in the podcast they said that I was one of the special guests that they had and that a phone conversation with Chase Elliott was the other special guest. I mentioned that I had actually watched and listened to the podcast before, so I knew what to expect. Lastly I talked about the all of the funny conversations that we had from racing, to conspiracy theories that we may or may not believe. After I had finished the report that was typed in the new format I sent it to Kate's email again so she could read it and then send it out in the official email to be published. I checked my phone to see that Chase had sent me a text letting me know that he was back in Georgia and heading back to his parents house in Dawsonville. I sent him back a quick text saying thank you for letting me know and for him to have fun with his parents this week. I then heard Kate over the speakerphone saying she had wanted me to come back to her office...

Once I got there to her office we talked about my new report and I got to watch her submit it to be published and  sent to the other Speedways, GCOE, and NASCAR themselves. I looked up at the giant clock in her office to see that it was 11:15 already, she told me that she had an errand that she wanted me to do. I needed to go meet up with some very important people on our boardroom, so her and I began walking to the boardroom together. I reached the boardroom and quietly turned the doorknob.

I turned the doorknob and walked into the boardroom to have three people jump up and yell Surprise as loud as they could at me. I was confused for a minute before I realized that it was Kim, Chuck, and Ryan from Glass Case were the ones yelling at me. They came and gave me a bug group hug before they began explaining everything to me on why they were here surprising me. They told me that they had already had a huge discussion about this with Kate and they wanted to make it official and ask me to become part of their Glass Case family. They wanted me to be a permanent fill-in when one of them would be out of town or sick, I was so excited and I knew that I just had to say yes! All three of them then brought me to the boardroom table where this huge gift basket sat; the gift basket was filled with a poster signed by them, some yeti cups with the NASCAR logo and Ryan's number 12 on it, a jar of roses, some cool vintage racing shirts, a new credential holder, and of course I noticed they had slipped some of Chase's merchandise in there also.
