When a new journalist/ reporter takes on a new job at a NASCAR racetrack she soon discovers that she has found love where she least suspects it. Along the way she meets new friends and brings them "along for the ride."

//Julia's POV//
What more could a girl ask for I'm sitting here cuddled up watching Game of Thrones with NASCAR's most popular driver. I knew he would have to go soon to head out to Kansas for the race, so I wanted to take in this moment and treasure it. The first episode ended so we decided to stop and grab some snacks and drinks before continuing. Chase had an hour left before he had to leave for the airport.
Julia: So what's your plan for after the race on Sunday?
Chase: My plan is to fly back here with the team and then I might go ahead and fly back to Georgia. It'll all depend on what happens this weekend really.
Julia: Well if you get back too late I don't want you trying to fly back exhausted. You are more than welcome to stay here with me for the night with me.
Chase: Oh my goodness Julia are you sure? I wouldn't want you to get in trouble for doing all of this. I can always stay with Blaney or Dale to make you feel better.
Julia: I'm so sure about it Chase. You are more than welcome to come over here anytime that you want. I don't think that anybody is going to be paying any attention to where you sneak off to after the race haha.
Chase: Aww you are the best. I don't know what I would do if I wouldn't have met someone like you. How about this.. whenever the race ends I'll text you and let you know when we are flying out and what the plan is.
Julia: I could say the same thing about you mister. That sounds like a great plan. I'll be up late anyways so feel free to call or text me. You ready to start the next episode now?
Chase: I can always count on you to be up late watching the race or some sort of sport on tv. I sure am!
***skips to Chase having to leave***
Chase: Well darlin I have to start heading to the airport now. I have had the best time today with you. I'll text you when I land and after I get back to my motor home for the night. I can't wait to get back here and see you for the next 2 weeks while NASCAR is here.
Julia: Aww okay. I have had the best time with you also. I am gonna miss you so much. Thank yo so much for keeping me updated. I can't wait for you to be here in Charlotte for 2 weeks either! Please be careful, be safe, and drive fast.
Chase: There ain't nothing sweeter than you. I'm gonna miss you too. Thank you, I will, and always right? I'll talk to you after while. Bye!
Julia: I'll talk to you later my Georgia boy. Bye!
The last thing that was done before heading out the door was a tight hug and a kiss that felt like it was going to last forever. ( Which wouldn't be a bad thing with him ;))

Even though I was working from home this weekend I decided to dress up for watching the race that was coming on today. Thanks to GCOE I was wearing one of my Chase Elliott shirts and a pair of my comfy leggings. I was also gifted from GCOE a sweatshirt that had Ryan Blaney's last name and number on it, I decided to bring it with me into my living room also. I knew that Chase was gonna be up early today so I sent him an early good luck text. I also had taken a picture in my shirt of his so I sent it to him as well.
Julia : Good Morning Chase! Just wanted to say Good luck today! Just remember you got this and that I am proud of you. Can't wait to see you soon. 😘
Chase: Good morning to you too! Thank you so much. I can always count on you to brighten up my day even this early in the morning. I can't wait to see you again soon! 💙😘
Today my plan was to get some work done that I need to do for CMS and for GCOE next week. I'm actually scheduled to go in and work tomorrow in the office. I am so thankful for my job and I can't wait to see what Kate has me doing this week. It's going to be a busy 2 weeks with back to back races being in Charlotte. I watched the race and cheered for both Chase and Blaney. When the race ended Chase ended up in 10th and Blaney ended up in 1st. I know it wasn't the outcome that Chase was looking for but he's still in the top 10 and that's all that matters!

NASCAR- Team Penske's Ryan Blaney has won today's race at Kansas Motor Speedway. CHECKERED FLAG ALERT!!
Chase: Hey Julia. The race just ended and as you can see Blaney pulled out the win. He wants a group of us to stay here out in Kansas with him for the night to celebrate. I'll see you sometime tomorrow when I get back to Charlotte. Goodnight!
