It had been a few weeks since the garlic incident, and tonight was the full moon. Logan was preparing a bag to hide in the forest, with clothes and makeup to hide any injuries he acquires. The werewolf sighed and packed a few bandages.
It was two hours till moonrise. Two hours till he turns. Logan took his bag and walked out to the living room.
"Where are you going to kiddo?" Patton asked, making Logan jump slightly.
"I'm going stargazing." Logan said the first thing that came to his mind, "the full moon is perfect for it."
"Okay!" Patton giggled, "have fun!"
Logan nodded and left the apartment. He walked the small ways to the forest. Logan could feel his joints aching from the rising moon.
Soon, Logan found a clearing to set his stuff down in. The werewolf sat down and waited.
The full moon finally rose. Logan felt sharp pains echo through his body. He grit his teeth as he felt his bones contort and his joints pop. His skin itched as wolf fur pushed through. Logan's clothes ripped as his body shifted into that of a wolf.
Moments later, a large black wolf lied in the middle of the clearing. It slowly got up, looking at its surroundings with its deep blue eyes. Hunger clawed at its stomach. It caught the sent of a rabbit and started the hunt.
The wolf ran through the trees, chasing the rabbit. A game of cat and mouse ensued. The rabbit lost.
The wolf devoured the rabbit. The moon as at its highest point now. The wolf went on more hunts, trying to satiate it's hunger.
As the moon sunk below the horizon, the wolf went back to the clearing. Blood stained it's fur as it curled up next to the bag. It whimpered and whined as it started to shift back into Logan.
