"Thomas!" Roman called, looking for the thirteen year old.

Suddenly, a small wolf pup with bat wings flew into the living room and around Roman's head. Roman laughed, pulling the shapeshifter out of the air.

"There you are." Roman smiled, "Come on, Patton's waiting for us."

Thomas giggled, "Do you thing Lo and the new dog will be able to talk to each other?"

Roman chuckled, "who knows? We'll just have to pick her up and find out."

Thomas laughed and rolled out of Roman's arms, "Let's go then!"

Roman smiled and let Thomas pull him out to the car.

"Hey kiddo! Are you excited to pick up Calypso?" Patton asked.

Thomas nodded excitedly. Roman got in and kissed Patton.

"Ew!" Thomas laughed, "Let's go! I wanna pick up the puppy!"

Patton giggled, "Alright kiddo, let's go!"

~~time skip ~~

"Calypso! Here girl!" Thomas called the brown and white puppy.

Roman watched Thomas and the puppy play in the living room. Virgil came out and smiled.

"How you doing Princy?" Virgil asked, sipping a bloodbag.

"I'm doing better." Roman said, "Dee sent us a letter today saying he got his wings back."

Virgil smiled, "that's good."

Roman nodded, "is the full moon tonight?"

Virgil chuckled, "yep. L is excited to see if he can talk to Calypso."

Roman laughed, "that's going to be hilarious to watch."

"Oh god, I can only imagine." Virgil shook his head, smiling.

"Virgil! Virgil!" Thomas yelled, running over to the vampire, "can we go flying later tonight!?"

Virgil laughed and ruffled Thomas' hair, "Sure kid."

"Thanks Virge!" Thomas hugged the vampire.

Logan walking out of his room and yawned.

"Lo!" Thomas cheered, "we got a puppy!"

Logan nodded, "I can see that."

Calypso jumped up on Logan's leg, looking up at him with big, blue eyes. Logan smiled and scratched behind the puppies ears. Calypso jumped down and began to play with Thomas again. Everything was finally settled and at peace.
