Logan tapped his fingers on the arm of his chair. He couldn't focus on his book. His mind kept wandering to the darkly dressed man in the next room. Logan sighed, closing his book and setting it on his desk. It was about time to check on Virgil anyway.
Logan stood up and walked to his roommates door. He knocked gently.
"Virgil? May I come in?" Logan asked.
The werewolf opened Virgil's door to find his roommate fast asleep. Logan smiled lightly, moving over to the bed. He pulled a blanket over Virgil's shoulders. Logan took a moment to admire the dark roommate. He smiled to himself as he left.
Logan walked into the kitchen, passing Roman and Patton who were watching a movie together. The werewolf grabbed some leftover pasta and put it in the microwave. Logan grabbed the plate and a fork, walking out to the living room.
"H-hey Logan." Patton whispered, cowering behind Roman with his eyes glued to the t.v.
"Salutations." Logan greeted, sitting down, "What are you watching?"
"The new Annabel movie." Roman replied.
Logan nodded, "alright."
"How's Virgil?" Patton asked, looking over at Logan.
"He's currently asleep." Logan informed the others.
Patton nodded, "do you think he's gonna be okay?"
"I'm sure he's going to be fine." Logan reassured, "he said himself that it would only last a day."
Patton nodded. Roman pulled him into a hug.
"It's okay Patt, you didn't know he was allergic." Roman said.
"But I should have asked before making anything!" Patton started to tear up.
"Patton, the important thing is that Virgil will be okay." Logan said calmly, "and now we know so we can avoid it in the future."
Patton took a deep breath and nodded. Roman smiled at him.
A scream erupted from the t.v., causing the three of them to jump. Roman started laughing while Patton hid his face in Roman's arms. Logan shook his head and continued eating his pasta.
