"I want you to try to kill the king." Jaidan looks horrified. "He's our father. Why would you want him dead?" Kye stared at him blankly. "Following orders doesn't require questions." Jaidan looks sad but angry at the same time. "I can't kill him." "Well then I guess I'll just have to kill Arein then, it's too bad really. I had some plans for him." Jaidan looks troubled. "What if I don't succeed in killing the king?" Kye leans in close to his face, grinning toothily. "I never said you had to KILL him. I just said you had to TRY." Jaidan sighs and nods hesitantly. Kye takes a key out of his pocket and places it into one of Jaidan's hands. Kye then disappears in an eruption of smoke and orange flame, leaving behind nothing but traces of ash. Jaidan unlocks one arm and then unlocks the other three locks on the chains, stumbling slightly when he hit the ground. He looks around for a door finding one on one of the walls. He tries the doorknob seeing it was unlocked and pulling it open.
