Chapter 75

Early the next morning around 4AM. Jaidan was tossing and turning and was kicking Jake in his sleep. Jake jerks awake and looks at Jaidan, seeing him in distress. He sits up and rubs Jaidan's head softly and whispers to him quietly, "Hey hun.. You're okay.." Jaidan continues to flail around and Jake sighs and wakes him up carefully. Jaidan stirs and looks at him. Jake sighs and says, "Do you want me to go to the couch with you? I don't want to wake up Vik and Celeste." Jaidan was still half asleep but he nods, stumbling out of the bed and into the living room. Jake goes and sits down, Jaidan laying his head on Jake's lap, falling asleep again. Jake turns on the television and puts it at a low volume. Celeste comes out a little bit later around 6AM and goes and sits next to Jake. Jake smiles kindly at her and whispers, "Did you sleep well?" Celeste nods and says, "Can I stay out here for now?" Jake says, "Of course. You can do whatever you want." He wraps his arm around her and she looks at him and says, "Should I go wake up Vik? And then we can wake up Jaidan?" Jake smiles and says, "You can wake up Vik but let's let Jaidan sleep a little longer. He had a bad night." Celeste tilts her head a bit and says, "What happened?" Jake says, "I think he had a bad dream. He's been going through a lot of hard things lately." Celeste still looks confused and says, "What things?" Jake sighs and says, "The king which is his dad sent him to prison. His dad also said a lot of mean things to him." Celeste then says, "What kind of mean stuff did he say?" Jake looks away, it seeming as if this affected him as well but he says, "He said that Jaidan would be a horrible father." When he says this his eyes water and Celeste says, "What's wrong?" Jake says quietly, "It would probably be his, Vik's and my children. We will make great father's. Right?" Celeste moves closer to him and rests her head on his shoulder and says, "You'll make the best father's beside Kye obviously." Jake smiles a bit and says, "You can go get Vik now if you want." Celeste nods and gets up, running to the bedroom and hopping onto the bed and shaking Vik awake. Celeste says loudly, "Time to get up!" Vik instantly wakes up and looks at her and smiles. "What am I getting up for silly?" Celeste says happily, "Jaidan is sleeping so Jake told me that I could wake you up!" Vik sits up and says, "What do you want to do?" He yawns and she says, "We can all watch television together!" Vik nods and gets off the bed along with Celeste and they go to the living room and Celeste sits next to Jake and Vik sits on the other side of her. Jake says, "I'm going to wake up Jaidan now." Vik and Celeste nod. Jake nudges Jaidan softly and he groans and says without even opening his eyes, "What do you want? I'm still tired." Celeste says, "We want you to watch television with us." Jaidan opens his eyes and looks up at Jake and then over at Vik and smiles. He then says, "I want to have a child of my own." Vik looks surprised. Jake says, "We're fifteen and your sixteen though. How are we going to know how to take care of child?" Celeste then says, "If you have a kid then I can be their friend!" Jaidan says in a sad voice to Jake, "It was just an idea.." Jake sighs and says in a sympathetic voice, "I just think that we're really young and I don't want us to hurt the child." Jaidan quickly gets up and says, "You're just like my father! He said that I'd hurt my child!" He storms off into the bedroom and slams the door, sitting in one of the corners of the room and proceeding to cry softly. Jake looks at Vik and Celeste and says, "I-I didn't mean to hurt his f-feelings.." Vik moves over to the other side of Jake and hugs him and says, "You didn't mean it. He's just sensitive right now." Celeste says, "I could go talk to him?" Vik shakes his head a bit. "I will." Vik goes over to the bedroom door and knocks. Jaidan screams, "GO AWAY! I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU JAKE!" Vik sighs and says, "It's not Jake. It's Vik. Can I come in?" Jaidan says softly but loud enough so Vik could hear, "Come in.." Vik goes in and shuts the door behind him, going over to Jaidan and sitting next to him, hugging him tightly and says, "He didn't mean to hurt your feelings. He was just trying to say that we're still really young and that maybe we're not ready. We have Celeste for now." Jaidan says angrily, "Then I'll raise my own child!" He pushes Vik away from him weakly, tears still streaming down his face. Vik sighs and says, "If Jake won't help raise a child then I will." Jaidan looks up at him with a surprised look on his face. "Really? You'd do that for me?" Vik smiles slightly and says, "I'd do anything for you." Jaidan kisses him passionately and Vik smiles wide. Jaidan pulls back and says, "At least it'll be my blood. It's going to be a great nine months that we can decorate a place for it. I wonder if it'll be a girl or a boy?" Vik chuckles and says, "Slow down hun. We haven't even gone to have your 'stuff' taken so that they can give it to a women to carry the child." Jaidan stands up and so does Vik. They walk out of the room, holding hands and Jaidan smirks at Jake and says, "Since you won't help with a child. Vik is. He's a much better person than you." Jake's heart sinks as Jaidan says this and he looks away from him. Vik and Jaidan walk out of the house and head to the place.
