Jake and Vincent were on their way out of the castle and Jake looks to Vincent. "I want the money and then take me to see my sister." Vincent lets out a deep sigh, digging in pockets and handing him a shiny black cube. "Smashing that on the ground will take you to your sister." He hands him a slip of paper with a number combination on it. "That will open one of my safes. Two bundles is 5k. Take ONLY that." Jake nods. "How will I get back?" Vincent thinks on this for a moment. "If you do it now I'll go with you." Jake nods but he looked very nervous. Vincent glared at the ground, clearly still quite annoyed. "Well. Go on." Jake stares at the cube and then smashes it against the ground. In a flash of sparks the two of them were transported into a massive, dark, empty void with dark fog everywhere, only noticeable because of the figure laying shivering on what could be assumed to be a ground in the distance. Jake's eyes widen and he looks to Vincent. "I-Is that E-Ella...?" Vincent silently nods. Jake slowly walks towards her. "E-Ella...?" The figure slowly came more into view, becoming more recognisable as Jake's sister, as well as the fact that her clothes were torn. She didn't respond, being curled up with her arms and hands protecting her face. Jake reaches her and kneels down, resting a hand on her back. "Ella.. It's me.. Jake.. Your brother.." She gasped quietly and tensed, seeming to hide herself even more. "G-Get away from me you monster!" Jake pulls his hand away, his eyes watering and he looks back to Vincent. Vincent was looking away, but no longer seemed guilty about it. Jake looks back to Ella. "Hey.. It wasn't me who hurt you.. J-Just look at me.. Please.. I just want to see your face.." Ella further hid it. "You liar!! Y-You can't fool me again!!" Jake sighs shakily. "Ella.. Please.. Tell me what happened.. Y-You don't have to look at me.." Ella yelled out at him. "Get AWAY!!" Jake huffs. "ELLA! I WASNT THE ONE WHO HURT YOU!" Ella shakes more, whimpering. Vincent scoffs. "Well that's not the way to do it." Jake jerks his head towards Vincent, growling. "YOURE THE ONE WHO DID THIS!! WHY DONT YOU HELP TO FIX IT?!" Vincent rolls his eyes and walks over to her, kicking her lightly in the arm. "Hey. 's me." Ella after a moment of recognition moves her head, looking at him with one eye. Vincent gestures to Jake. "He's real." Ella frowns and looks at Jake, sitting up shakily. Jake looks at her, tears streaming down his cheeks and he moves a hand to her cheek. "I've missed you so much.." Ella flinches, pulling away slightly. Jake frowns. "I'm really sorry for whatever happened to you.. But.. I promise it wasn't me.." Ella stares at him, there was still a look of fear in her eyes. Jake sighs shakily. "Mmf.. I wouldn't ever do anything to hurt you.. You're my big sister.. I always looked up to you.." Ella looks up at Vincent with an uncertain look on her face. Vincent was analysing his nails, but seeing her he quickly looks up. "I assure you, it's him." Ella nods slightly and looks back to Jake, shaking still. "You've grown up so much.. How old are you now...?" Jake smiles a little. "I'm 21.. You're 29.. Um.. Could I hug you..?" Ella smiles a little and nods, leaning forward and hugging him tightly. Jake hugs back even tighter. "Dad's in prison now.. I made sure that it happened.. I wasn't going to let him get away with killing you.." Ella digs her face into his shoulder, looking up at Vincent. "Thank you so much for bringing the real him.."
Vincent smiles for only a moment, checking his watch and remembering Addison, almost jumping out of his skin. "Oh, Crap! Heh, uhh... Heh, I gotta go, so.. WE gotta go, so uh, we're going!" Jake and Ella frown. Jake squeezes Ella tightly, kissing her on the forehead and then standing up. "I'll see you again.. I promise.." Ella sighs shakily and nods. Jake turns to Vincent, sighing shakily. "Let's go.." Vincent quickly does a motion with his hand, using magic to transport them straight back to his house. Without hesitation he bursts in and heads up the stairs. Addison was sitting on the bed wearing a short, tight, strapless red dress with matching red heels. She was hanging her head and looked really upset. Vincent sighs, smiling when he saw her. "Hey.." Addison looks up at him, her eyes puffy and it was noticable she had been crying. Vincent frowns. "Mmf... I'm sorry I'm late, I just.. got caught up with something.." Addison talks quietly and softly. "You were probably with another girl.. Weren't you..?" Vincent looks surprised. "No, of course not!" Addison frowns. "Then what were you doing..?" Vincent sighs. "I... I was just... helping out a friend... I guess.." Addison sighs shakily. "Who..?" Vincent tries for several seconds to think of an excuse to not say a name, but just ends up giving up. "Jake.." Addison sighs and shakes her head. "If you still want to go out can you use magic or something to help my eyes not be all puffy..? Because I don't want to go out looking like this.." Vincent smiles a little. "Of course.." he leans in close to her, putting his hand on the side of her face, kissing her softly as he uses his magic to fix her eyes. Addison smiles a little as well, standing up and showing off the dress, turning around. "I just need help tying the back of this." The dress showed most of her back. Vincent gave her a soft laugh and puts his hands against her sides, moving them down them before moving to the laces to tie it up. Addison turns back around, smiling happily. "You ready?" Vincent nods excitedly. Addison holds his hand. "Take me there." Vincent nods and takes her hand, walking her down the steps and out the door, and down the pebble strewn road, in a direction they hadn't been in before now. On the way there was a group of about 3 strongly built males, they wolf whistle in her direction. Addison gets closer to Vincent, trying to adjust her dress where it didn't show as much in both places but she was unsuccessful with that and just puts it back how it was. Vincent frowns and glares at the men, putting his arm around her waist and holding her close.
They all smirk and laugh. Addison stares at the ground. Vincent sighs and mutters to Addison. "Hey, it's alright. I can protect you." Addison looks up at him and nods slightly, frowning and glancing over to the men as they were slowly following them. Vincent huffs and helps her walk faster with him, letting out a relieved breath as he sees the restaurant, leading her to its doors. Addison was still hanging her head but once they got inside she looks back up at Vincent and smiles a little, leaning against him. "Thanks hunny.." Vincent smiles warmly back at her. "Of course!" Addison smiles and gestures for Vincent to tell them they needed a table, not wanting to do it herself. Vincent nods and goes up to the person at the Center counter. "I have a reservation under "Afton"." The person nods, gesturing for a women greeter to help them, and she steps out, smiling at them and leading them to a table. Addison was smiling happily. Vincent pulls out one of the chairs for Addison once they got to the table, smiling at her.
Addison sits, blushing a little. Vincent sits in the seat across from her, smiling at the woman who brought them there as she places menus in front of them. Addison doesn't like him smiling at her but she doesn't say anything, just looking at the menu. As she walks away, Vincent picks up his own, eyeing his pocket for a moment and sighing, a calm smile on his face. Addison looks up. "I'm gunna get a steak." Vincent smiles. "Expensive taste, hm?" Addison blushes harder. "I'm an expensive girl." She giggles a little. Vincent chuckles, thinking of the ring. "Indeed~." Addison continues to smile at him, pulling her dress up a bit on the top.
Vincent then waved a waitress over so they could order. Addison looks at the waitress. "I'd like a steak please." The waitress nods and writes this down, then turning to Vincent, who gestures for her to come closer, her doing so. He points to one of the items on the menu, muttering some additions and specifications about it to her, their faces fairly close as he spoke to her about it. Addison looked a little angry. The waitress smiles and nods to him as he finished, writing all of it down. "Your orders will be delivered to you soon." Vincent smiles as she says this and walks off, looking back to Addison. Addison still looked a little angry, muttering but he could still hear. "You two got pretty close..." Vincent's smile fades. "Oh, um... sorry, I was just saying a few things about my allergies and all that..." Addison sighs. "Alright.." She then smiles a little again, looking at his tail. It flicked every once in a while, swishing in the air at a moderate pace as he thought.
Addison's smile brightens and she looks back up at him. "So.. Wha'do you wanna talk about?" Vincent clears his throat, leaning in closer to her and clasping his hands together. "Well. We've both missed so much from eachother these past two years, so why don't we fill eachother in a bit?" Addison nods. "Well um.. I know you don't really like him but Logan's going into the military." Vincent tilts his head a little. "Ah, I can't say that I saw that coming! How... nice." Addison's smile fades a bit. "He also um.. got a girl pregnant..." Vincent raises both eyebrows. "Oh? How old is she?" Addison looks away slightly, sighing. "She recently turned 14..." Vincent looks shocked. "Oh..." Addison shakes her head. "He says he's going to help with the child. It's a boy." Vincent looks slightly away, thinking. "Huh.." Addison puts her hand to her stomach but quickly pulls it away, hoping Vincent didn't notice her. He did, having been in deep thought with his eyes elsewhere, but seeing it in his peripheral vision. He looks over right after she moved her hand away, raising an eyebrow at this, but quickly disregarding it. "Alright, well. In my years, as you know, I was able to get a job at the castle, and earn a nice bit more money through deals with the elf folks."
Addison smiles a little, moving her chair in a little more so she could keep her hand on her stomach without him seeing. "That's cool. I'm happy for you." Vincent sighs and looks at her, a bit concerned. "Hey.. is your stomach feeling okay?" Addison freezes. "Um.. It's uh.. Mmf.." Vincent frowns a little. "What is it?" Addison looks nervous. "I uh.. It's a cramp..?" Vincent doesn't look convinced. "Are you sure?" Addison sighs shakily, wincing but quickly looking back at him. "You'll um.. You'll know in a few months.." Vincent looks confused, thinking on this, running through what she could be talking about, and raising an eyebrow at one. Addison sees this and quickly looks away. "Mmf..." Vincent frowns. "Right.." Addison sighs shakily, looking at him again. The waitress comes back, with two plates of food, placing the each of them down in front of Vincent and Addison, then walking off. Addison looks at it and then turns her head away from Vincent, gagging at the smell of food. Vincent looks at her, confused. "Are you sure you're okay?" Addison looks back at him, huffing and looking angry at herself but nodding. Vincent studies her face, and then sighs. "Alright..." Addison stares at her food, not knowing what to do. Vincent taps his cheek. "I... I have something I've been meaning to ask you.." Addison looks up at him and nods. "What is it?" Vincent gives a soft chuckle. "Well.. I know we've only just been brought back together, but..." he moves from his seat, taking a deep breath and kneeling down on one knee in front of her. Others in the restaurant notice this and hush down, watching. Vincent reaches for his pocket, taking out a small black velvet box, and holds it out in front of himself, opening it, and speaking. "Will you marry me...?" Addison's eyes widen and her face goes completely red, she gets up and hugs him tightly, kissing him passionately. "Yes! Yes! Of course I'll marry you!" Vincent laughs, delighted, kissing and hugging her back, his tail swishing behind him wildly as he smiled brightly, absolutely ecstatic. Addison pulls back, her smile fading a little. "I've got a question for you now.." Vincent raises an eyebrow. "Yes?" Addison takes a deep breath and takes Vincent hand, setting it on her stomach, small kicks could be felt. "Would you be mad if I was pregnant with your child..?" Vincent looks shocked, feeling immensely stupid that he hadn't figured it out before then. "I-I.. no!......?" Addison smiles a little, pressing his hand against her stomach. "Can you feel it?" Vincent sighs shakily and nods. Addison looks confused. "Aren't you happy..?" Vincent stammers. "I-I.. I mean- Of course I am, I just-.." he shakes his head. "Of course." He smiles and takes his hand off her belly and taking her hand in his, putting the ring onto her ring finger, and nuzzling her softly. Addison smiles back, hugging him again and then chuckling. "You have no idea how hard it was to get into this dress like this." Vincent laughs a little. "Well, you did great." Addison nods. "I know." She tries to get back up but was struggling, keeping a hand on her stomach and then sighing, looking to Vincent. "A little help?" Vincent nods and helps her up. Vincent laughs nervously. "Yeah... I can't believe I didn't realise..." Addison chuckles. "I thought everyone would notice. I'm pretty big already and I'm only 4 months." Vincent smiles awkwardly. "I guess I've just been a bit preoccupied.." Addison shakes her head and smiles. "It's perfectly fine. It's just this kid doesn't stop. They kick day and night. It's tiring and painful." Vincent sighs and nods. "Well. I'll be here to help you through it." Addison rolls her eyes playfully. "I doubt you'll want to get up in the middle of the night when I get sick and stuff. I don't think anyone wants to do that." Vincent chuckles and shakes his head. "I'll do it for you." Addison sighs shakily, her face looking suddenly pale. "You eat your food. I've gotta run to the bathroom, alright?" Vincent sighs. "Alright." Addison quickly gets up and runs to the bathroom, she stays in there and about 15 minutes pass and she's still not back. Vincent had finished in about 3, and getting worried, he gets up to go check on her, heading to the bathrooms.
The door had been left unlocked. Vincent sighs and peaks in. Addison was on her knees, leaning over the toilet and trying to hold her hair back with one of her hands, she glances at Vincent but quickly looks away again. "I'm fine.. I promise.. It was just the smell of food or something.."
Vincent quickly goes in and shuts the door. "I'm still going to help you." He goes over, kneeling down and holding her hair back for her. Addison continues for a few minutes before sitting up and wiping her mouth, flushing the toilet then looking at Vincent. "I'm sorry.. I ruined our date.." Vincent's eyes were soft. "No, Hey... you didn't ruin anything, sweetheart.." Addison stares at the ground, looking a little sad. "But if I hadn't gotten sick you Wouldn't have had to come help me.." Vincent shakes his head. "Don't think like that. I gained a fiancé, AND a child from this! I wouldn't have wanted it to go any other way." Addison looks up and smiles a little at him. "Do you still want to kiss me..? Even though I stink.." Vincent chuckles. "Sometimes I think that you forget that I eat people." He enters into a kiss, holding her by her waist. Addison giggles a little, kissing him for a minute and then using his shoulder to stand up, grunting as she did. Vincent pulls away, looking concerned. "I think we should get going."
Addison nods. "I just want to lay down with you. My whole body hurts." Vincent sighs and helps her out of the bathroom. "I already set the money with the check, let's just get you home.." because it was the closest way out, Vincent leads her out the back door. The three men were waiting right outside, one of them yanking Addison away from Vincent and the other two pinning Vincent against a wall. The one who had grabbed Addison, who seemed to be the leader, looking at Vincent, a hand over Addison's mouth and the other on her stomach, pressing against it roughly. "Well, Well. Now I've got your girl. What are you going to do about it?" Addison was squirming around viciously, her screams muffled by the man's hand. Vincent's eyes widen. "Addison!!" He struggles frantically against the two men's grips, glaring fiercely at the man holding Addison. The men holding Vincent keep a tight grip on him. Addison was frantically trying to get the man's hand away from her stomach. The man holding Addison rolls his eyes, slamming Addison against the wall and then pinning her against it by her throat. Addison screams. "V-Vincent!! T-The baby!!" Vincent huffs, breathing heavily in panic, using all of his strength to struggle and kick at the men holding him, growling at them and baring his teeth, his tail flicking wildly, a black flame having been lit at its tip, and his hair erupting into a similar flame, but matching the colour of his hair. The men don't let go but look a little nervous. Addison was crying at this point, covering her belly with her arms protectively. The man holding her throws a punch at her face, it striking and causing her nose to start to bleed. She continues to scream, trying get away.
Vincent yells out at him. "STOP IT!! DON'T HURT HER!!!" Full of anger and adrenaline he jerks his arm with much more force than before, a fury in his eyes pinned straight on the man hurting Addison, with the very clear intent to kill. The arm Vincent jerked away was successful but the man tries to grab it again, the other man still holding his other arm. The man holding Addison didn't even acknowledge Vincent and throws another punch but this time at her stomach. Addison screams in agony, not able to struggle anymore, her face just filled with pain as she gripped onto her stomach. Vincent's arm then bursts aflame with a hot, inky substance, and he throws his weight towards the man. Then man holding Vincent's other arm let's go and the man holding Addison lets her go, her crumpling to the ground, curling up and shaking. The man moves out of the way quickly. Vincent quickly moves his body to the side, slamming into the wall and cracking the concrete, it crumpling directly where he hit, as well as he area around it to an extent. He then bolts towards the man who was holding her, aiming to knock him down. The two men that were holding Vincent run away quickly and the man who was holding Addison is knocked down to the ground, he tries to push Vincent off of him. "G-GET OFF OF ME!!" Addison just lays on the ground continuing to shake and muttering over and over. "Check the baby.. Check the baby.. Check the baby.."
Vincent was growling, his eyes glowing blindingly with an addition of a fierce heat radiating from them. His teeth were partly parted as he breathed heavily, strings of saliva bridging between his bottom and top layers of teeth as they were bared. He looked insane, crazed, and like in that moment, nothing mattered to him but the last scream on a dying breath.
