Chapter 82

Jaidan arrives about half an hour later and walks into the school and up to Levi and Celeste. Levi had fallen asleep and Celeste stands up and continues to hold him, being careful not to wake him up. Jaidan says, "When we get home I want to talk to the both of you. So, you can let him sleep for now but only until we get to the house." Celeste nods and they start walking. They arrive at the house a little bit later and go inside. Jake and Vik were sitting on the couch waiting for them and Celeste goes over and sets Levi in Vik's lap and then sits next to him. Jaidan sits on the coffee table and sighs and looks at Vik and says, "Can you wake him up please?" Vik nods and nudges Levi. Levi starts to stir and looks up at Vik with a frown and says, "I don't want to be in trouble." Vik sighs and points at Jaidan and says, "Just listen to what Daddy has to say." Levi looks over at Jaidan and Jaidan says to Levi, "You've been a very bad boy." Levi screams at him, "I'm not a very bad boy! I'm a very good boy! I was helping get rid of the meanies for Celeste!" Jaidan huffs but remains calm and says to him, "You can't bite people. It hurts them and will make you get in trouble like today." Levi turns himself around and digs his face into Vik's chest. Vik sighs and looks down at Levi and says, "Hey. He isn't done talking." Levi doesn't budge and just keeps his face hidden. Vik says, "If you don't listen to him then you have to go to your room and I won't be coming with you." Levi quickly looks up and turns around again so that he was facing Jaidan and says, "I'm listening." Jaidan nods and continues talking and says, "Do you understand that you can't bite people?" Levi nods a little and then Jaidan looks at Celeste and says, "I want to talk to you just me, you, and Jake so if you want you can go sit in my room or yours." Levi gets up and grabs Vik's hand and pulls him to his room and Vik smiles slightly and they play with Levi's toys. Celeste had gone to Jaidan, Vik, and Jake's room and had sat on the bed. Jake and Jaidan go to their room and each sit on one side of her. Celeste was hanging her head still and Jake sighs and hugs her but she pushes him away weakly and he sighs. Celeste says, "Why did they call my dad and me a terrorist..?" Jaidan sighs and says in a sympathetic voice, "I'm really sorry hun. You're not a terrorist. I know that for a fact." Celeste says, "What about my dad..?" Jake says to her, "He tried to smuggle illegal explosives into Rainflower and he started a fire." Celeste growls and looks at Jaidan and yells, "The fire was your fault! You're the reason everyone thinks he's a terrorist!" Jaidan looks shocked and tries to speak but stumbles over his words, "I-I.. No.. It w-wasn't my fault.." Celeste gets up and storms off to her room. Jaidan looked hurt and his eyes start to water. Jake moves closer to him and hugs him and says, "It's alright. She's just upset." Jaidan says in a sad tone, "I treat her as my own child.. Why does she hate me..?" Jake sighs and says, "She doesn't hate you. She just misses her real dad. That's all." Jaidan nods a bit and lays down and Jake lays next to him and they fall asleep after a little bit. Levi and Vik were playing with Dinosaurs and Levi was giggling happily. Vik continues to play with him and then Levi sits down in his lap and yawns tiredly. Vik then says, "Are you tired sweetie?" Levi nods and curls up in his lap. Vik smiles a bit and lifts him and lays him in his bed, going to leave but Levi says, "Can you sleep with me?" Vik nods and shuts off the light and then goes and lays next to Levi. Levi cuddles up to him and rests his head on his chest and falls asleep. After a little while Vik falls asleep too.
