Jake wakes up, drowsy, in a tight dog cage, his fluffy brown paws tucked tightly in front of him as he was carried in the air by a man out of his view. Through the grating he could see heavy snow, and more cages as they were being brought into a train car. They were mostly the usual dogs he had seen time and time again, those already broken. However, there were a few new ones. Most notably a red fox, tucked tightly into a cage [way] too small for it, which was struggling wildly, snapping its jaws and thrashing in the cage, the man holding him struggling to keep hold as he got closer to the train.Jake wines, struggling as well, trying to get to the red fox. Jake was tightly kept in the cage. He's brought onto the train before the fox, the fox a few men behind him. His cage is set down with the others, and the new cages were set in a semi circle in front of a man who stood calmly in front of them. Jake tries to bite through the grate, still trying to get to the fox, whimpering loudly and thrashing violently. Still, the cage held. The man shifted, it noticeable he was holding onto a long, metal club. He gestured to the fox's cage, and the man in charge of it looked surprised, doing a double take, before carefully opening the cage, and jumping back. The fox bolted out of the cage towards the man, jumping at him with rabid fury, snapping jaws and outstretched claws. Before it could get too close however, the man strikes the fox hard against the side with the metal club, and it's hit with a loud boom to the ground of the train car. Jake growls loudly at the man, his eyes pinned on the fox, frantically trying to get out to get to him, whimpering loudly and crying out.
The fox still got up, and jumped again, only to yet again be stricken down. Jake looks around for something or someone that could help him, it clear he didn't want to harm anyone, just wanting to get to the fox, barking at the fox. The fox [still] persisted, blood starting to drip from areas and it was starting to get weaker, but [still] it jumped at him, trying desperately, sticking behind to try to catch him off guard, but [still] he was stricken down with a vicious wack of the metal club. Sharp cracks could be heard this time as the fox tumbled to the ground. Jake cries out louder, looking to one of the men and stopping his thrashing, just looking at him desperately, trying to tell him, he'd be able to get the fox to stop, whimpering quietly now. Nobody did anything in his favour. The fox tried to stand, but blood drenched its fur now. It stumbled, circling the man in its weakness, before yet [again] jumping at him, but it was so weak it stumbled to the ground before even getting hit. As the fox tried to get up again the man struck its head, at its ears, and it yelps at the agonising pain, crumbling to the ground and not getting up. Jake barks wildly at the men, desperately trying to break out, bite at the cage. The man then puts a hand on the fox's head, and pats it harshly, the fox wincing and wining quietly. As it wined, the man strikes it again against the head with the club, and it yelps, just letting its head go slack against the ground. Jake cries out, wining loudly and trying as hard as he could to get out to the fox. This time, the fox stayed silent. Still, and silent, as the man dragged it harshly back into the cage, slamming the door shut and gesturing for another man to carry it out to another section of the train, which they do. Jake was clearly very upset, struggling frantically to get out still, wining loudly, barking desperately.Despite this, he began to grow drowsy, as a spell washed over him.Jake continues to struggle desperately before passing out, going limp.
