Chapter 100

Jake stirs, opening his eyes and looking over at Kye. Kye remained asleep, though oddly both eyes were slightly open. Jake thought it was a little odd but sits up, looking over at Jaidan who was wide awake, sitting up in the corner and staring at them. Jaidan says angrily, "Why are you two sleeping in the same bed?" Jake says calmly, "We're bros now, he said. He told me I could lay with him." Jaidan growls and says, "Then why were you cuddled up to him?" Jake looks over at Kye and then back to Jaidan, saying, "He was fine with it, so I did it." Jaidan huffs and looks away from him. Jake looks back over at Kye and nudges him softly. Kye shifts, blinking his eyes and groaning, before stretching and looking up at him. "Oh hey.." he smiles coyly at him. Jake gestures towards Jaidan and whispers so he couldn't hear, "He's mad about us sleeping in the same bed.." Kye, being very deliberately not so careful with the volume of his words says, "Oh pfft! Get back down herreee!" He lifted his arm up and grabs Jake's shoulder, shoving him back down towards the bed with oddly good strength considering his drowsy state. Jake lands on the bed next to Kye, giggling a little. Jaidan looks over at them and growls loudly. Kye flops himself onto Jake and points with a full outstretched arm at Jaidan. "Hey!" He rests his head down on Jake's chest, squishing his cheek against it and smiling slyly. "No homo." Jake was enjoying this, wrapping his arms around Kye. Jaidan growls even more, crossing his arms and saying loudly, "Get off of him!" Kye rolled his eyes. "I caaant! I'm too tired to break out of his lovely grasp~" he snickers. Jaidan screams, "Get away from him!!" Jake leaves one hand around Kye and moves the other to Kye's head, attempting to slide his head up to his, smirking. Kye allows this to happen, smiling sweetly and staring at him with his eyes just barely open. Jaidan says loudly, "Don't you dare kiss him!!" Jake presses Kye's face against his lips, smiling happily. Kye quickly shoves himself back, placing his finger securely against Jake's lips. "No. Homo." Jake frowns a little but nods, begining to smile again after a minute. He rolls Kye over and gets on top of him, rubbing himself against him softly, glancing at Jaidan but quickly looking back at Kye. Jaidan huffs and yells, "Why are you two doing this?!"
Kye laughs and looks over to him. "Doing what? We're bros! Nothing more." He lifts his arm up and places it on Jake's cheek, tapping it gently. "Away Fishy! Need space!" Jake slides off of him, laying next to him, a huge smile on his face. Jaidan looks angry and says, "That is not just being bros!" Kye yawns. "I don't know what you're talking about... but I'm going back to sleep." He closes his eyes and snuggles up to Jake's shoulder. Jake rubs Kye's head softly. Jaidan huffs and grumbles quietly, looking away. Kye opens one eye and whispers to Jake. "Just wait until he hears about our dad..~" Jake smirks and whispers back, "We should leave soon to take me to him~" Kye smiles a bit. "I'm not taking you anywhere~. I can't exist." He slips a small gemstone into Jake's hand. "Squeeze it, and it'll take you.." Jake nods a bit and says, "Is there a way for me to get back?" Jake nods and says, "Just bring Jaidan and the crown back to my house. You'll get your daughter then." Kye sighs and nods, looking off, and seeming distant. Jake says quietly, "Where exactly will the gem take me?" Kye smiles. "My room." Jake smirks and nods, saying, "What do I tell your dad?" Kye's eyes went serious. "Don't say a word about me. I am dead. Tell him you didn't go with Jaidan for this. Tell him he went alone. That'll make him proud when Jaidan comes back.." he sighs longingly. Jake nods and says, "I'm gunna go do this now. I'll see you when you guys come back." He hugs Kye softly.
Kye doesn't hug him back. "Right..." Jake sits up and hops off the bed, swimming out of the room and to a bathroom, going in and locking the door. He takes out the gem and squeezes it.
