One Week Later
[E]
The feeling when the gravity of the water is drawn against your skin when you use all your power to move faster towards the finish line, that's what I feel at the moment. Swimming to me is like breathing, only better. It's a good way to let out remaining anger and frustration.
I reached out and touched the wall right before I went up above the surface and felt my lungs get filled with oxygen. A round of applauds were heard and when I looked up I caught a bunch of unknown faces smiling admiringly at me.
''Nicely done.'' One of them extended her hand to pull me up from the water. I jumped up to sit on the edge with her help and they all gathered around me. ''You are new here, right?''
''Yeah. I came here about a week ago.''
''That explains why you're using the pool at the wrong time.''
''Sorry?''
Same girl joined me on the edge and handled over a laminated paper. It was a schedule for when the pool is closed and are being used by the swim team. ''We practice a lot. And since you're new I won't tell anyone about it, but save this and you'll know when not to be here in the future.''
''But this is almost every day after the last lesson?''
''We're practicing for the championship that's coming up in three months.''
''Oh,'' I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me. ''I understand. Sorry.''
The girl flashed me a grateful but genuine smile and patted my thigh before she stood up and then dived into the water. I got up from the edge to not be in the way and instead went straight to the locker room.
About two minutes later I had changed back into my school uniform and stood by the mirror to dry my hair.
''You should've seen his face when I entered the room. It was epic!'' Someone loudly said behind me as another door flew open. Three blondes walked in and once they caught me standing there they all became silent.
''Don't mind me. I'm not eavesdropping.'' I jokingly said with my focus on still trying to sort out my messy hair. Swimming is great, but having long hair as well is not a good combination.
Two of the girls looked familiar. Like I had seen their faces before.
They dropped their towels and began to change, but not without the familiar two laughing quietly at my comment.
I had to force my eyes to stay focused on me when all I could see in the mirror was three naked women. One of them had an amazing figure. Curves and long blonde hair that ended by her shoulders. Is there anything more beautiful than a woman with curves? Planks are definitely not my style, but I stay true to the fact that all women are beautiful in their own way.
''When do we have to be back at the canteen?''
''In an hour.''
''Thank god. I don't want to look like I just flushed myself down the toilet while serving the students.''
By now I had a hard time not bursting out laughing. But thankfully the other women did it for me so I could bite the inside of my cheeks without anyone noticing. But that laugh quickly faded once I realized what she just said.
Canteen? Serving students?
Of course! They are the women that works at the canteen! That's why I recognize them. And now I've seen them without clothes as well. Could be something to think about when I have my morning problem.
