They're done with the research paper. It's already 4PM. "Thank goodness, we're done." Jem. Jem noticed that Alex fell asleep in her sofa. Alex woke up early that day so she might be really sleepy. Jem is scanning Alex' face, "Hmmm, you sleep like a baby. You have a perfect lips and a cute nose." Jem is touching Alex' face. "You have a soft skin too, sometimes your stare can make someone blush. Jem is very near Alex' face. Alex had a sudden movement while sleeping, she faced Jem's face and they almost kissed. Jem hold her breath and her hand on her chest because she was nervous.
"Crap!!!!" She screaming on her mind.
After that nerve-wracking scene, Jem prepared some food for Alex to eat. Alex is slowly waking up, she stood up. "Shet, nakatulog ako. Damn!"
"That's okay Alex, before you fell asleep we're done with the research paper." Jem answered loudly, she's in the kitchen.
After few minutes, the dinner is ready. Jem prepared the table so they can start eating. Approximately three different viands are on the table. "Are we celebrating something Jem?" Alex asked Jem.
"I am not sure what's your favorite food so I cooked them all." Jem
"These are all my favorite Jem."
"Really?"
"Yes. Can we eat now?"
"Yeah, sure."
Jem removed her apron and untie her hair, Alex is looking at Jem "Babe you look so perfect."
"Are you saying something Alex?
"Nothing, let's eat?"
They started eating, Alex is commending Jem as everything that she prepared is delicious. "You know what Jem, I am going to live here for real."
"Sure why not." Jem answered.
"Wait, who taught you to cook?" Alex asked her
"Self-taught. I used to living alone so I should knos how to feed myself. With the help of cookbooks and online learnings, I was able to master them."
"That's really nice. I can cook fried eggs, hotdogs... I think that's all."
They both laughed so hard.
It's already 8PM, "It's getting late Alex, I am not pushing you away but I don't want your parents to get worried." Jem
"I texted my mom, I said that we're not yet done with the research paper. She asked for your address though."
"That's fine, I want her to feel that you are safe here."
"Is it hard living alone?" Alex asked Jem
"At first but you'll get used to it. Besides, I getting older each year I should learn how to take care of myself.
