Jem and Alex is browsing the movies in Netflix. "Can you not leave Paris?" Alex asked Jem. "I would love to but I have work in US." "You can work here." "I know but I have commitments there." "Maybe, you have someone there waiting for you." "None, I didn't have anyone since I entered College. I wanted to focus on my career so don't think that I have someone there." "Can I be your someone?" "Okay, I think I found the movie that we need to watch." Jem didn't answer Alex' question. "I promise to tell you everything before I leave." Jem wants to tell this to Alex but she just can't.
"This is a Filipino movie, do you want to watch it?" "Yes." So they're watching "The Hows of Us." All the of the crying scenes, Jem is also crying. "That's okay Jem." Alex is comforting Jem. "Sometimes we have to give up everything for love." "Yes but sometimes love can wreck us too." Alex handed a tissue to Jem. "Stop crying, it is just a movie." "It felt so real, you know."
"Alex, let's go to the market so I can cook for our lunch." "Alright. Let's go." Jem wanted to cook Alex' favorite dishes. During their Senior year Jem cooked for Alex when she slept over in her condo. They're done buying stuff from the market, Jem is now cooking. "Wow, ambango naman ng niluluto nya. Wait, I can smell adobo." "Alex, come over lunch is ready." "Coming!"
"OMG, adobo is my favorite!" "Really? That's nice. I also cooked adobo rice." "What? This is my first time to eat adobo with adobo rice. Wait, I should take a photo first." "Okay, go ahead." "Perfect!" "Do you have social media accounts?" "None, I keep the photos instead. I had one but I forgot everything about it. Also, I don't want to reconnect with the people that caused me heartbreaks or failures I guess." "I see." "Gosh I'm so full. Thank you Jem for the delicious lunch." "You're welcome, Alex."
